The Sunday Post- Happy Tony Awards Day!

Hello! I was busy for a few  Sunday's, so I haven't done this in a while. I am linking up to The Sunday Post hosted by caffeinatedbookreviewer.

Life

This week was not as busy, but I feel like I am still getting used to having time to write and blog again. I was so busy during May, that having time to blog and work on my writing again seems crazy. Anyway, this week was uneventful for me, I spent the week getting my excitement ready for Broadway Christmas, AKA The Tony Awards. I  am so excited to just chill and watch the show tonight.

Books read

I finished All That She Can See; I started it on the first, and finished it Friday. I enjoyed it, and I rated it 4.5 stars.

I am 37% done with The Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo. This is a group read in a Goodreads group. I am loving this story so much.

To Kill A Kingdom is a great Dark Little Mermaid retelling I am very much enjoying. I am 48% done, and I can't wait to see where the story goes.

Will Grayson Will Grayson I should read more, and now that the one book I was reading is done, I can focus on this one more. I am on page 39/310, while I am enjoying the story, I hope it becomes easier to tell the Will's apart.

Daisy Jones and the Six is still superb for me, but I will say I prefer The Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo. I've read 204/368 pages, and I think the format is bothering me as I need to keep rereading sections.

The children's classic Mary Poppins I am enjoying, and seeing how the scenes are in the book versus in the media, I love seeing the differences. As of now,  I am on page 70/242.

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  2- Miriam Kendrick from C

Top Ten Tuesday-- Favorite Places to read

Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme Jana hosts @ thatartsyreadergirl This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each Week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will post our list as a reply. We also have the option of going rogue, and posting a topic of our own choosing or a past topic. This week out topic is favorite places to read.   1- At my desk   I read a lot in my room and at my desk. I’m trying to find another method because I tend to stop reading and look at a notification that distracts me. I enjoy reading at my desk because it’s easy.  2- In bed I need to be wide awake to read in bed, but I might start doing it more. Reading in bed is less distracting for me, but it still can make me tired. 3- In the car Some weeks I spend a lot of time in the car. When I’m in the the car I’ll try to read a chapter or two, but it sends up being more like 3-4 depending on how long the car ride is.
