Can't Wait Wednesday!

Hi! Can't-Wait Wednesday is one of my favorite weekly memes because I love to showcase all the books. This meme is hosted by  wishfulendings . The purpose is to highlight a book want to read, one that is usually not released yet. This week I want to highlight Speak For Yourself. Information comes from Goodreads, but the cover comes from  2021ya Tumblr.   Title: Speak For Yourself Author: Lana Wood Johnson Expected Release Date: June 1st 2021 Goodreads Summary  " Girl meets boy. Girl likes boy. Girl gets friend to help win boy. Friend ends up with crush on boy... Skylar's got ambitious #goals. And if she wants them to come true, she has to get to work now. (At least she thinks so...) Step one in her epic plan is showing everyone that her latest app is brilliant. To do that, she's going to use it win State at the Scholastic Exposition, the nerdiest academic competition around. First, she'll need a team, and Skylar's not always so good with people. But she'l

Top Ten Tuesday Books and series that should have adaptions

Welcome back! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . Each week we're given a prompt or a question, and we make a list based on what we think. This topic was a fun one, and it was books that should be made into TV shows and movies. The topic came from  Nushu @ Not A Prima Donna Girl, The Lunar Chronicles- TV show I've been enjoying this series this year and I would love a TV show about it. I would say this series could have four seasons, meaning that each book would get a season. If they wanted, they could have Levana's story, and Stars Above, the book of short stories, as two extra seasons, or work them into the rest of the show.   A Court of Thorns and Roses–TV show This is already a very popular fantasy series, so there's already a market to watch the TV show. Like The Lunar Chronicles, it's one book per season in my head.  Fangirl- Movie I love this book, and it would be a fantastic movie! The Night Circus- movie I feel like the whimsic

Top Ten Tuesday Books I loved but never reviewed

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . The purpose of this meme is to bring the book blogging community together and foster our love of lists. Every week, Jana posts a prompt and we make a list based on the prompt.  1- Tash Hearts Tolstoy This was a cute YA contemporary staring a web series creator who got noticed and nominated for an award. I loved the Ace rep in this book as well.  2-Romanov This was an Anastasia Retelling which made it Historical Fiction with a dash of fantasy. I never reviewed this because it's one of those books where it's tough to compose your thoughts for a review.  3- A Court of Mist and Fury I really should reread this series and review them. I really enjoyed this book in particular but this one was a case of not having the time to review.  4- Stay Gold I finished this one recently, and I would love to review this at some point. I loved seeing a Trans MC.  5- Geekerella I loved this book and one day I might find the time to

Top Ten Tuesday -Books I would save in the event of Alien Abduction (or other natural disaster)

Hello! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme brings the book blogging community together and gives us a reason to make a list every week. This week, the prompt was books with color in a title, but I haven't read many of those. I picked this prompt because I thought it was fun, and I wasn't a book blogger when it was first posted. For the sake of this post, I am using books that I own either in paperback or hardcover.  1-Fangirl Listen, if you know me, or if you've followed this blog, you know why I need to bring my favorite YA book with me. While this list is in no order, I would probably grab this book first.  2- Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles # 1) This has easily become one of my favorite series, and I only started reading them late last year. I love the world and the characters, and if I didn't take this and Cress, I would miss them, and then regret not grabbing them.  3-Cress (The Lunar Chronicles # 3)  See above   4- Simon Vs the Homo Sa
