Top Ten Tuesday- Book with theater elements or theater books I've loved

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @ thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was brought about by our love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt and we readers and bloggers will respond. We also have the option to go rogue and do our own thing. This week was a freebie, and in honor of Broadway coming back this month, and The Tony Awards the other night, I wanted to theme my list to that. For those that might not know, one of my other passions in life is Broadway Musicals, so this theme is very on-brand for me. I put the books by genre.  Non-Fiction  1- Hamilton: The Revolution by Lin Manuel Miranda and others  2- The Great Comet of 1812: The Journey of a New Musical to Broadway These are two coffee table books I loved.  Middle Grade 3- Fearless (Fearless Series Book 1) by Mandy Gonzalez 4- The Chance to Fly by Ali Stroker and Stacy Davidowitz I read these both this year and I loved them so much. I'm actually rereading Fearless next mon

Top Ten Tuesday- Fall TBR

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was made to foster our love of lists and bring the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a list, and we readers will write a response. We also have the option of doing our own thing. This week our topic is fall tbr. I’m a mood reader, and I help out with a game and take part in a game every month. Every time you see a game prompt means that I will try to find a book on my shelves once I find out what the prompts will be. I’m going to reserve two books a month for games. I plan on reading more than what is listed here. This is just a small taste of what I hope to read.   September 1- On the Come Up by Angie Thomas (57%) done–I left my Ipad down the shore, luckily my mom and sister found It and they have it. I am enjoying this book. I’m not sure if I will be able to finish this by the end of this month, but I wanted to put it here anyway. 2- Barakah Beats by Maleeha Siddiqui (10% done)

Fools In Love (E-ARC Review)

Hi! This book was given to me for free to Net Galley Read Now in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, I loved this anthology, and it was one of my favorite E-Arcs I’ve read this year.   Characters The characters in each of the stories were well developed, and they each had their own personalities. With anthologies like this, characters can start to run together, but all the characters were different, and I could tell who I was reading about. All of the characters were sweet and really cared about the other people in the stories. The characters had interesting hobbies and backstories as well. Plots The plots to all the stories in this collection were interesting. Each one was different, and they were all unique based on the trope used. Some were modern stories, and some were fantasy and sci-fi. I enjoyed reading most of the stories here. Bloom, using the trope, Love Transcends Space and Time by Rebecca Barrow, follows a woman named Mera who is looking for someone she has
