Can't Wait Wednesday- The Lost Daughter

Hello! Today is one of my favorite weekly memes, Can't Wait Wednesday. Our host is  Tressa@wishfulendings . Formally, this meme was Waiting on Wednesday hosted by Jill  @breakingthespine . The purpose is to highlight a book that we can't wait  for usually the books are unpublished. This week I am highlighting The Lost Daughter by Gill Paul. Information from Goodreads, Title- The Lost Daughter Author- Gill Paul Expected Publication  date- August 6th 2019? I say the question mark because     Goodreads says it came out in 2018 but the book has been removed from the links so I'm thinking that maybe the 2018 was a typo? Goodreads Summary " A Russian princess. An extraordinary sacrifice. A captivating secret.... From the number one best-selling author of The Secret Wife, The Lost Daughter is a sweeping, moving story of the tenacity of love and the power of forgiveness. Spectacular, enthralling and romantic, Gill Paul's latest novel will stay with you forever

I plan on finishing  this book this month or early next month.  3- Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers My expectations were high for this book and overall the story is not living up to them. Musical Monday's -Beetlejuice

Musical Monday's Beetlejuice Photo by Matthew Murphy Hello! I know that some readers of this blog won't know what this series is, so I wanted to start by explaining. Musical Monday's was born when I came across young fans of Musial Theatre, who had not heard of the shows I loved and grew with. My original thought was to keep this towards the lesser-known shows, or shows I personally wanted to see highlighted more. The shows have expanded into musicals that many people have heard and love. I will use my review format, to discuss the musical. Today, I will discuss a new musical called Beetlejuice, based on the film , and the cartoon  of the same name. I have not seen this musical, nor have I seen the sources for this show.  My thoughts will be based  on the Cast Recording. I picked this show because I am love this musical right now and wanted to discuss my thoughts. As a side note, I will use lyrics to separate the sections because I think it's a fun way to introd

Top Ten Tuesday - Unpopular Bookish opinions

Welcome Back! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by  thatartsyreadergirl . This week the top is unpopular bookish opinions, was submitted by Kaitlin Galvan at  somehowimanageablog . I don't think I have that many unpopular opinions, but We'll see if I can get to ten. I do not mean this to be a personal attack. I know some of these will get into beloved areas of book community, so take these as just my opinions. 1- I have only read one Harry Potter book, and will probably never read the rest. Yes, I know how odd this makes me sound. I was a Twilight kid, and I preferred those over Harry Potter. I have see all the movies, and I want to read Fantastic Beast, as I believe I will love that world and those characters more. 2- I hate mystery and horror novels. I know how odd this might sound to some people. I'm just not a fan because they creep me out and I am more skittish than most people. This is a beloved genre, so I think this is an Unpopular opinion? The exception to thi

Musical Monday's - The Tony Awards

Hello! So, I know that Musical Monday's is about introducing you all to a musical; I am still thinking about what show I want to do next, now that I have time to start this series again. Tonight. I wanted to do a post on the Tony Awards. This will just be a fun post with my opinions on certain categories.  I am so happy that Celia Keenan-Bolger won, I have loved her for years and I am so happy she has her tony for the role of Scout in To Kill A Mocking Bird. I enjoyed her speech and  was just beaming for her as I watched. I don't think it's much of a secret, especially if you follow me on social media, that I love Hadestown. My heart is beaming with love for this cast, and the creatives that so rightfully won awards last night. Hearing the lessons that Andre De Shields and Anais Mitchell put into their speeches I enjoyed, because they were just lessons for actors, or people in the theater community, they were lessons in life and something we can all learn from.
