The Flash 3x09 Mid-Season Finale Review contains spoilers Rating *****(5 stars) Original Airdate:12/6/16 I loved this episode so much, and I thought it was the perfect way to end the mid-season before it goes off the air for a little while. This episode was filled with so many moments of joy, and little pockets of things that made me happy, and reminded me why I love this show so much. The main plot this episode was with the villain from the philosopher’s stone,    it was released by Julian played by Tom Felton. Cisco keeps seeing his brother, and he doesn’t know why it is later revealed by his brother that if Cisco opens the box than it will bring his brother back to life.  He does this, and his brother doesn’t come back to life but the villain inside of the box is released, and the team must find a way to get rid of it.  Barry and the older flash run and throw the stone and the box into the speed force, but in doing so Barry sees the future and he sees the villain put a swor

Teen Wolf 6X04 review contains spoilers Airdate:12/6/16 Rating: (*****) 5 stars This was a show that in my opinion was so much better than last weeks, and I feel that I was overly generous with my 4.5 rating upon reflection. I felt like last night’s episode was  back to the show that we all know and love, and it felt like it was a very solid episode overall. The show opened with Chris in the woods, Melissa had followed him to see what he was doing there and they find a body and a girl who is in a tree she throws up blood and dies when she falls. The kids that had been marked at the party in last week’s episode were moved to a bunker to keep them save, Chris is staying there with the kids and he asks Malia to come and help him. Scott, Corey, Liam, and Mason go to the school because the Ghost Riders are going to strike again, they know this because of the thunder and the storms the tram has been tracking the strikes. Once Upon A Time 6x10 Wish You Were Here review contains spoilers Airdate: 12/4/16 Rating: (*****) 5 stars Once again if there was a higher rating than five stars I would rate it higher, because this episode was flawless in my mind. The main plot was that the Evil Queen had wished that Emma Swan’s wish of not being the savior come true, she had the lamp in her hand and so Aladdin granted the wish that she had asked for sending Emma to the fairy tale land. In the fairy tale land, there was a story line where Emma was a princess, and it was her birthday this scene took place before the Evil Queen’s was granted, and so she still remembered about being the savior. In the present,  Regina sees the loophole with the Evil Queen, and in my opinion the loophole that the fans have been waiting for, and while holding the lamp wishes to be sent to where Emma Swan was sent.  In the fairy tale, land everyone thinks that Regina is the Evil Queen, and she must prove to everyone that she isn

Legends of Tomorrow 2x08 review Airdate: 12/1/16 Rating *****  (5 stars) I would rate this episode higher if there was a high rating than 5 stars for a show or a movie;because this episode was perfect I wanted to start off by saying that. Kara was out for most of the episode; because at the beginning Oliver tells her that it would be best if she stays back; because she is an alien.  The main plot was the Dominators in Oregon in 1951, this happened to be the first time that they were cited in the 50’s and some of the crew saves one of them. In the present  one of the villains, or I believe that you are to assume that he is a villain because he knows what the Dominators want, and he says that if Barry doesn’t turn himself in for changing the timeline than they will get rid of all Meta Humans.   The team that took the Legends ship to 1951 comes back to present day 2016, and they help the team with the fight against the Dominators in our world. Teen Wolf 6x03 review Air Date: 11/29/16 Rating ****.5 (4.5 stars) The main plot of this episode was around Gwen a girl who had just lost her sister Phoebe to a Ghost Rider, and Hayden tells her that she will be next if she saw The Ghost Rider no one remembers Phoebe or even that she existed. The another plot in the episode was the fact that Stiles wasn’t around and Scott, Lydia, and Malia are trying to find him so they talk to the sheriff about help with that it is revealed that the sheriff’s father could help. Although it is not said why at the time, the sheriff says that they shouldn’t go talk to Stile’s grandfather, who Stiles is named after but the group decides not to listen to them and goes to see them anyway.     At the lacrosse party that night they are told to keep Gwen safe by Scott before he left to go see Stile’s grandfather, and the safest place that they could think of was Scott’s house, and so they move the lacrosse to his house even though he is not there at the

The Flash review Episode 2x08 Invasion Airdate:11/29/16 Rating:***** (5 stars) The main plot of this episode was a crossover between The Flash, Kara Danvers aka Supergirl, The Legions, Arrow, Thea Queen, and Felicity al teaming up to fight the villain of the week. Wally aka Kid Flash wanted to help, but since he is just starting to get his powers it’s not a good idea Wally gets hurt in battle. The villain of the week was the Dominators a group of aliens that date back to the 50’s, and until three months ago when a recording was released with the Dominators voice. Barry tells everyone when they’re all assembled that he can’t be trusted; because he went to flash point and saved his mother   so he not only changed his timeline;but due to a ripple effect he changed other people’s timelines that were in the room. Due to this Barry wants to stay behind while the rest of the group goes to fight the Dominators, Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow says that he will stay behind to keep an ey

Supergirl 2x08 Medusa Airdate: November 28 th , 2016 Rating:***** (5 stars) This was the first episode the huge crossover event with the DC Universe shows on the CW this week, and I think it was a great way to start the crossover. The episode started at Thanksgiving with: Kara, Alex, Winn, and James, Kal, and Liza Alex’s mother and Kara’s adoptive mother while they’re going around and saying what they’re thankful for a portal in the wall opens, and just space is there. Kara goes to talk with Lena Luther, and at the time it seems   like Lena is open to working against her mother in a way. The villain of the week this week happen to be the White Martian who was gone by the end of the episode, he was unable to control his powers and he had fully  lost control of his powers. A computer that Kara is talking to, and the man behind the screen says that he has created some kind of a virus, and that it will spread around the city J’onn  /The White Martian is infected as he and the man th

Once Upon A Time review season 6 episode 9 Changelings aired on 11/27/16 Ratting: ***** (5 stars) For a bulk of this episode, we were in both the past and the present with the characters of Belle and Rumple/Mr. Gold. This was a very pivotal episode in more ways than one, first one all Belle gave birth to their son Gideon in the present and she gives him to the Blue Fairy, so that he  will have a chance at a better life.  This was done behind Rumple’s back, and if he had walked into the room a few minutes earlier, he would have been able to prevent Belle for giving away his son someone that he really wanted to know. In the past Rumple comes home with a baby, and it is unexplained where the baby came from he took the baby but it is not explained at the time what he needs it for. The Blue Fairy hel

I finished chapter 11 today, and that was an amazing thing for me to do I now have 6 more chapters to do. Today I wrote 2,332 words so not the best but more than I thought I was going to. I now have 34, 416 so I will hit 35 k tomorrow!!! Almost halfway through the month, and I'm very much ahead. As of right now I'm supposed to finish the novel on November 2nnd, but it might get pushed back till the 23rd. Today was an amazing writing day, the Philly WriMos beat South Jersey all three times in the word wars, but there were more of them. I wrote 2,789 words today and have a total of 32,084. I had a reach goal of 32 k which I made and I'm very happy about.  I wrote a lot about Scarlett and the past and her having conversations with her parents. I will share one with her mom and one with her dad today. As she was trying to think of something else to talk about she was trying to think of what the two of them had in common, and that way they could talk about something that they both enjoyed but she was coming up blank but needed to say something. “I know that you’re meeting with your father for dinner later, but have you talked to your siblings lately maybe we should all get together soon” her mother looked at

Today was a great day it might not have been the best word count wise, but I did write 2,373!!!! The more important ting to me is the fact that I got to 25,005 words and that was the goal! I wrote about 9 paragraphs, most of which was dialogue because I had so much narrative in the novel. Today I did chapter 9 I'm going to see if I can finish it tomorrow. The total word count was around 2,153, and the word total is 22,622. I really wanted to hit 22.5k, and I wanted to get out of the slump of writing 1, and some change every day. I wrote a lot about the adopted parents Lucy and Grant. Here are two paragraphs abut them. Like most people Lucy and Grant had their own strengths and weaknesses, they were the kind of people that embraced their flaws because it made them human much like their biological children. In terms of her strengths Lucy’[s were: that she was charming she felt this was an asset, she was the kind of person that was sensitive to others, she was imaginative, and she was a very curious person. Her weaknesses were that: Lucy was unpredictable this was one of her faults, that she was one that got stressed easily, she was one that was fiercely Independent, and that she had fluctuating self-esteem. Today might have been the least prodiuctive  day or none of them but I had one of the my best days. I did 1,111 in 45 mins and that was the first time ever! The total word goal of the day was 1,853 and the total owrd count is 20,440. Today I fnished chapter 7 that I started yesterday, and I did chapter 8 a shorter trans media chapter. Today's paragraph's are Lizzie's blog post, two 2/3 paragrpahs I used for that. Things I like are theatre I love theatre so much, and I am one that considers it a large part of my live, favrotie shows will be posted in the section about favorites below this one so read on for that. Today was a good day, it wasn't my best word count day but I banged out six paragraphs, and I went over the word count that I wanted to hit today. Today's word count total written was 2,080 and I'm really proud of that, The Total word count for the novel so far is 18,627 when it should have about 13,313 today in order to do 50k by the end of the month. The funny thing was that I was not planning on writing that much for chapter 7, the one that I'm currently working on and will finish tomorrow  but I decided as I was writing that I wanted to write up Scarlett's parents and I wanted to give her some interaction. One week of NaNoWriMo flew by, and I feel like I'm at a better place novel wise than I was two years ago. Today I finished chapter 6, and tomorrow I start and maybe finish chapter 7 so I'm only one day behind the actual calendar! I wrote 2,810  words and I find that amazing because I was not expecting that. My total right now is: 16,547 and so I made my reach goal of 16.5 k today. Today I wrote a lot of  paragraphs and two large scenes and one or two smaller ones. The paragraphs that I'll be sharing today are my main character Phoebe, and her best friend and future love interest Rhi discussing what is going on with Rhi on the day of her adoption, and Harry Potter. Rhi was one that was on her side, and the thing of it was that she was so excited to hear this even though she didn’t see a need to pick sides the two of them, because Phoebe knew that it wasn’t the right thing to do. Today was my least day word count wise with 1,9115, but I have a total of 13,720. I wrote 6 paragraphs two of which I will post below. This is about the biological children of Lucy and Grant. It's going to be a basic post today because I'm getting sleepy so no paragraph post today. I did write 1,983 today, and the total is 11,826. I wrote the cast recordings of Finding Neverland, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. All in all, it was a great day because even though I was busy I still got to the goals according to NaNoWriMo for the day.

Today was an amazing day I wrote 2,813  words because  I lose time tomorrow, but I think I can run home between shows and do some sprints and I'm going to do some tomorrow before the show I think. The word count total right now is 9,843 according to the official word count on the site, and I find that amazing. I would like to say this as a forward, I'm not editing these post before I post them here because Nanowrimo is about getting the words on the page, and shutting down your inner editor. Today was a great day today I wrote 2,4 something words today for a total of 7,030!!!!!!  I believe this book me around two -three hours to do. Today I wrote some more of chapter two, and I started chapter 3 the first sentence anyway. I'm going to share two paragraphs about Phoebe one of my MC's meeting the new neighbor.   “So what sort of things are you all into” Rhi asked as she guided the girls to the play room, becasue she was an only child and her mother was a baker and her father was a journalist, she had a lot of different things that she was interested in even at the age of four. The funny thing was that Phoebe really hadn’t really had anyone but her family ask her what she was interested in, and she loved this because had everything in her head and what she was going to say. “

I almost forgot about the post today so it's late, but still coming on day 2. Today I wrote 2,118 words bringing the total word count to 4,607. I wrote for about an hour and a half  and I  ended the first chapter, and I started about 2 sentences of chapter 2.  Today I will be  sharing an internal monologue from my character   Phoebe, and a conversation and some monologue with my other MC Lizzie and her best friend that is not a family member Anya. The music today was  The Great Comet 2012 off Broadway Cast. Over all it was a good day, I aimed for 5k, but I never got there today. When she was ready and less confused about her own feelings than she would talk to her family, being the last person in her family to have never had a relationship she wasn’t sure what she was going to say. The first day of National Novel Writing month went really well. I wrote for about 2 hours and the word count was 2,489 which is over the daily word count for 50 k in 30 days. Today I wrote the prologue, and I started the first chapter. Today I will be sharing the first paragraph of the prologue,  and the first paragraph of chapter 1. Date: 1/6/2000 Scarlett wasn’t sure what she was going to do now, she didn’t know in a city of millions of people both tourist and locals alike she didn’t know what she was going to do. Scarlett was late that month, she knew this because she had to keep track of things because she was the black sheep in her family anyway. As the daughter of a doctor, an OBGYN as a matter of fact and a Public Relations person for the mayors office in New York City she was always in the spot light. Most of the time she didn’t care, as a matter of fact she liked the attention but what she didn’t like was being treated like the black sheep because of the way that she was.

November first is tomorrow, and  that starts National Novel Writing month this si where writers will write a 50k word novel in the course of a month. I will be posting one or two of the best paragraphs I write each day, as well as what I accomplished that day,  It's to keep up with the blog, and because I'm curious as to what people will think of my novel. In the new year I hope to try and get this novel published, and in December I will go through first edits of the novel.

Carmilla Back in the spring of 2014 I never would have thought that the little novella that I read and fell in love with would ever become a web series, I read it for a lit class and I loved it so much that I didn’t want the book to end. My main reasoning for thinking this was that the novella was so short, only 86 pages of story and then some additional pages of illustrations and a glossary of terms ending at 93 pages. The book was published in 1871-72 and was written by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu is one of the earliest works of Vampire Fiction,  dating even before  Bram Stokers Dracula by 26 years. The novella like the web series follows Laura who lives with her father in a castle in   Styria with her wealthy widowed father, from Childhood Laura has lived in this secluded area, and she really doesn’t have that many friends or people to talk to. I am one that usually likes to read at least most of the books before going to see a  book to film adaptation, or a movie based on a book as usually I believe that in almost all cases the books are better than the films. There are some book to film adaptations that in my opinion miss the mark completely, for example the first Twilight film but I thought that they got better as the years went on.  Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children was one of those films that missed the mark on a few things, and I would like to start off by saying  what I feel like It missed the mark on, and then I will move onto what I feel was great about the adaptation.  The first thing that I felt it missed the mark on was the voice, yes I know that the characters were not the ages that they are in the book, but I don’t feel like you can blame anyone because    actors auditioned, and they had to go with the people that came in for the roles.  I don’t feel like the film fully mastered the voice that Ransom
