In The Queue Where It Happens

-Sings No one else was in the room where it happens, the room where it happens, the room where it happens.- Hi! This is the post where I talk about other media I’ve been enjoying. I have not done one of these in months, and I missed doing them. The title is a pun on The Room Where It Happens from Hamilton. Tv and Movies I keep watching Food Network for background noise while I work on things and while reading. I don’t know what it is, I don’t really cook or bake, but I love watching other people make food. I really enjoyed Barbeque Brawl this season, it was tense, but I loved it. I also enjoy Guys Grocery Games, Chopped, Money Hungry, Guys Ranch Kitchen, Beat Bobby Flay, Restaurant Impossible, and Kitchen Crash. I really enjoy the variety and how many shows the Food Network has. I recently finished this season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney +. I really loved this season, I just wish they had spread out the drama of the back half of the season more int

My Journal about Life (Pippa Park) by Erin Yun (E-Arc) Review

This book was free from Edelweiss + Read Now. I read this book because it seemed like a fun read, and I picked it when I had been reading a lot of intense and heavy books. I had read the book Pippa Park: Raises Her Game was also by Erin Yun, and I really enjoyed it. This is a tough book to review, so I will talk about the back cover and how the activities inside relate to them. I wish I had a journal like this when I was younger because it was a mix of fun and questions that really made you think.       Me, Myself & I This book was a great way for a young person to explore all aspects of their personality. From quizzes to help you get to know yourself better to activity pages where you could post photos. One of my favorite sections on getting to know yourself was the spaces where you got to write an answer to a specific question, such as, how do you see yourself. I feel for a young person reading this book, you could learn a lot and really think. Being a fan of musi

Top Ten Tuesday-- Favorite Places to read

Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme Jana hosts @ thatartsyreadergirl This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each Week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will post our list as a reply. We also have the option of going rogue, and posting a topic of our own choosing or a past topic. This week out topic is favorite places to read.   1- At my desk   I read a lot in my room and at my desk. I’m trying to find another method because I tend to stop reading and look at a notification that distracts me. I enjoy reading at my desk because it’s easy.  2- In bed I need to be wide awake to read in bed, but I might start doing it more. Reading in bed is less distracting for me, but it still can make me tired. 3- In the car Some weeks I spend a lot of time in the car. When I’m in the the car I’ll try to read a chapter or two, but it sends up being more like 3-4 depending on how long the car ride is.

Top Ten Tuesday-Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve More Love

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @ thatartsyreadergirl .  This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt and we readers will write a reply based on that. We also have the option to go rogue and do our own thing. This week’s topic was Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve More Love, and I was excited to make my list.   1- Abby from The Simon Universe by Becky Albertalli When people read the books in this series, I feel like they mostly talk about and love Simon and Bram. This is fine. I love those characters as well, but I also love Abby. I love Abby because she does theater, and she is a very sweet friend to Simon and the rest of their friends. In the later books, you see that she finds love and is true to herself. 2- Penny from the Simon Snow Trilogy by Rainbow Rowell   I know that most people that read these books probably enjoy Penny as a character. This is another case where the focus is o
