Beauty and the Beast Book Tag!

Welcome back to Book Tag Thursdays. I took the Beauty and the Beast tag questions from  Here . Images from Goodreads.  “Oh what a guy, Gaston!” A villain you can’t help but love- I am going with Regina Mills also known as The Evil Queen from Once Upon A Time. I have not read the novels yet but based on the TV show, I will give this prompt to Regina.  “Here’s where she meets Prince Charming ” Your OTP- My OTP is Cath and Levi from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I love these two as a couple and they're so cute. “I want so much more than this provincial life ” A character destined for greater things. – All of them? I feel like Ana from Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston might be a fit. I feel like even though her world is in space, Ana is one that could escape someone how and make her way in the world on her own.  “Be our guest!” A book that made you hungry.- The Hunger Games Trilogy because Peta's parents owned a Bakery.  “Beauty and the Beast ” Opposites attrac

Book Tag Thursday!

Welcome back to Book Tag Thursday. I wanted to do the Secret Life of a Book Blogger tag 2.0. I found the tag  here Questions How long have you been blogging? Since 2016 on and off. I've become more active as a theatre and book blogger in 2018 and 2019. I started off as just a TV review blog, but I'm happier being a book and Theatre Blogger.  At what point do you think you’ll stop blogging? Blogging is fun and therapeutic for me, so I don't see myself ever stopping fully. I might need to scale back if life gets hectic.  What is the worst thing? What do you do to make it okay? Having the time to get the content up. I have fun doing it, but it still takes time to get the content I want.  How long does it take you to find make/find pictures to use? I don't use photos because I don't know how to use photoshop. I'll make a photo with Picsart or something for a header but that's it. From time to time, I'll use another program with a college

Musical Mondays - The Prom

For those that don't know I used to have a blog series called Musical Mondays. I have missed doing these, so I want to bring them to a new format which is not just me telling you a synopsis from Wikipedia. I have not seen this show yet, so I am basing all my opinions on the Cast Recording. Background The Prom follows Emma Nolan, a girl who would like to bring her girlfriend Alyssa Greene to the prom. With the help of Broadway actors and her school, Emma gets her wish. The Prom opened at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway on October 23,2018 with previews, and opening night was November 15, 2018. "Just breathe Emma remember that thing called oxygen"- Just Breathe Plot I love the plot of this show and that it is original. The story is your traditional teenage women wants to take someone to the prom, but it becomes a whole new tale when you have two women. One thing that drew me to this musical, it differs from anything else I had heard or seen before. That Broadway

Top 5 Tuesday

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Top Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly prompt that is hosted by  thatartsyreadergirl . This weeks prompt is new to me authors I read in 2018. Now, 2018 was a great year for me professionally, however, that meant that I could not read as much as I could. I will list the authors, the book ( s), and why I put them on this list. I could only think of 5 that were deserving out a shout out, hence why I changed this from top ten to top five. Images from Goodreads 1- Sarah J. Maas Read- A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I loved the world that Maas builds in her book series. I had heard about all the hype surrounding this series, and so I wanted to give it a shot and see for myself if it was worth the hype. Seeing as I flew through the first three books in the first months of 2018, I can confirm that this series is worth the hype. Maas creates characters that you want to root for, and you want to see them achieve their goals. 2- Becky Albertalli Rea
