In the Queue Where it Happens

Hi! I've wanted to do a post on Fridays where I talk about the media I've enjoyed over the week, and what I would like to watch, and talk about music I've loving. Podcasts will also appear on this post, so consider this a post for all other media other than books. I'm very excited about this series. Yes, that is a reference to The Room Where it Happens from Hamilton.  TV I watched a lot of the Food Network this week, but that isn't new, I just watch it in the background as I'm doing other things like blogging and reading. I enjoy Guys Grocery Games and Supermarket Stake Out. Most other shows, I don't actively watch, but if I'm listening to music or a podcast, I can't focus on just writing or reading that well.  I started One Day At A Time on Netflix a few months ago, and this week I watched more of it. I am currently on 3X3 and I plan on seeing how I can watch season four soon. This show is amazing and I can't recommend the show enough. I find it

2020 Midyear Freak out Book Tag!

Hello! Seeing as tomorrow is August 1st, and I did my TTT on books I've loved so far this year, I wanted to do this tag today. I grabbed the tag from  this blogger . This tag was created by  this booktuber  and  this one  according to the blog I got the questions from. Here we go! 1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2020 I'm torn between a few top reads. If I need to pick one book, I'll give it to Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I loved this romance so much, and the characters were amazing! 2. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2020 The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan. I wasn't the biggest fan of The Lost Hero, but wow this book really made me fall for this series. I loved seeing the Roman camp, and I loved seeing Percy in the series again.  3. New release you haven’t read yet but want to I have a ton! My top one is probably Tweet Cute by Emma Lord. I've heard so many good things, and the book sounds so cute! I just really enjoy the vibes the cover and sy

Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite Books of 2020 so far!

Hello! I know I say that I'll be more active and then don't post for a week. I have plans for at least two other posts this week though. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. This week, our topic is a freebie, meaning we can use any book related topic, or even a topic not related to books at all. I picked to talk about books I've loved this year. I am including books I'm in the middle of for the sake of this post. This list is in no particular order.   1-House of Earth and Blood-74 % done- current rating 5 stars I don't remember how I actively I was blogging about books in 2018. Anyway, If you've been following this blog for a while, you know that Sarah J. Maas is one of my favorite authors in the fantasy genre. I was skeptical to read this because I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy an adult fantasy. Anyway, I'm g;ad I deiced to read it becau

Top Ten Tuesday-Books that make me smile

Hello! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . Top Ten Tuesday was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Our topic this week is books that make me smile submitted by  Julia@pagesforthoughts . I choose my books this week based on the vibes of the book that made me smile while reading.  Books that make me smile (YA and NA) 1- Red, White and Royal Blue Yes, I know it's kind of cheating to put a book I haven't finished on this list. The cute vibes are undeniable and I love them. Henry and  Alex are so cute.  2- The Night Circus This book has the Historical Fantasy vibes, and I was so swept up in the world and the characters. I will make plans to reread this t the same time I read A Starless Sea by this author.  3- Yes, No Maybe So This book has cute YA contemporary vibes. The pivotal characters Jamie and Maya were such a sweet romance.  4- Get A Life, Chloe Brown This is the other NA on the list. Chloe and Red were

I'm Back!!! Update & Currently Reading!!

Hello! I took a blogging break because I wasn't reading as much for a few months. Now that I'm reading more, and I'm feeling like I missed interacting with the book blogging community, I started blogging again. I want to take it easy and post 3-4 days a week. Some weeks might be ore, others might be less, but 3-4 days seems like something I can stick with, even if I don't post memes on the day they're supposed to be posted on.  Currently Reading (RC denotes Reading Cycle Day) RC Day 1   Stay Gold by Tobly McSmith -Ebook -51 % Done.  I started this book back in June and I am very much enjoying the story. I really enjoy the main character Pony as well.  The Adventure Zone: Petals to the Metal by Clint McElroy, Justin McElroy, Travis McElroy, and Griffin McElroy — Physical Book- out 07/14/2020.
