Can't Wait Wednesday

Hi! Can't-Wait Wednesday is hosted by  Tressa @wishfulendings . The meme is a spin-off of Waiting on Wednesday, which was hosted by Jill  @breakingthespine. The purpose of this meme is to highlight an unpublished book we can't wait for. This week I'm highlighting Cool for the Summer. He's tall, strong, sweet, a football star, and frankly, stupid hot. Oh, and he's talking to her now. On purpose and everything. Maybe...flirting, even? No, wait, he's definitely flirting, which is pretty much the sum of everything Lara's wanted out of life. Except she’s haunted by a memory. A memory of a confusing, romantic, strangely perfect summer spent with a girl named Jasmine. A memory that becomes a confusing,

Top Ten Tuesday- books I want to reread

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana posts a topic, and we create a post based on that prompt. This week our topic is book quotes, however; I was inspired by an older post that I never got the opportunity to do. These are ten books I want to reread.  1- Foolish Hearts I loved this YA contemporary so much, and I feel like few people talk about it? This was my first book by Emma Mills, and I will definitely read more from her! The characters in this book are fantastic, and I loved the story.  2- Tash Hearts Tolstoy Remember how I said I wanted to reread this before the end of the year? Lol, I haven’t yet. I’m almost done with Tweet Cute, so maybe after I’m done with that and Love, Creekwood? Maybe at the same time as Love Creekwood? Anyway, I love this lesser discussed YA novel. 3- All I Know Now I read this book by Carrie Hope Fletcher last year,

Top Ten Tuesday-Books for My Younger Self

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . The purpose of the meme is to bring the book blogging community together and foster our love of list. Each week, Jana posts a prompt and we write out a reply based on our own opinions. This week, the topic was books for my younger self. I went with books I wish were out when I was in middle school or high school.  1- The Lightning Thief and the rest of the Percy Universe When I was in elementary and middle school, I would have loved these books. The mythology with a dash of fantasy missed with real-life because you follow the day-to-day life of the half-bloods I would have devoured. As an adult, I love them, but as a kid or a pre-teen, these books would have been my Harry Potter. 2- Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda In high school, I would have loved this book. It’s filled with theater references, and it’s filled with finding yourself and who you are. I would have loved Simon and I would have related to his story in m
