In the Queue Where it Happens

Hello! It's been a few weeks, but I have things to talk about now. This is my post about other media not related to books that I do every other Friday. Yes, the title of this post comes from the musical Hamilton.  Tv and Movies I've actually been watching a few things lately, and I'm thrilled about that fact. I'm working my way through season 4 of One Day At A Time when CBS airs them on Mondays. I'm very much enjoying it, and I love all the characters. My next Netflix show will probably be Emily in Paris, or Julie and the Phantoms. Now that The Owl House is on Disney Plus, I will start that today. If I have time, I  will start season 1 of The Mandalorian as well. Also on Disney Plus, I have added High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; I need to get back to that as I was very much enjoying the show. I have to say; I believe as far as streaming services go; I prefer Disney Plus over Netflix because it's more the content I want.    As far as movies go, I w

Top Ten Tuesday - Books that remind me of Fall

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergir . Each week book bloggers talk about a prompt chosen by Jana or readers. The meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. This week is a Halloween Freebie, but because I don't read scary books, these are books that remind me of Fall.  1- Fangirl You have all heard me talk about this book before, and I’m pretty sure I talk about it every week. 2- Carry On This is the fanfic from Carry On. The book reminds me of Fall because it takes place at a school. 3- Simon vs the Homo sapiens Agenda This is a fluffy YA and is perfect for fall. I love reading YA contemporary this season. 4- Meet Cute   I read this book this year, and it’s so cute. It’s one of those books perfect for a fall evening. 5- The Bookish Life of Nina Hill This is an adult book I read this year, but I loved it. The characters are fun and the plot was great. I put this on the list because it’s light. 6- Comics Will Break

Top Ten Tuesday--Books/ series I read/ am reading because they were recommend to me

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by  Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was made out of a love of lists and bringing us book bloggers together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we the bloggers will make a post based on that prompt, or not. This week is books I've read based on recommendations from others.  1- The Grisha Universe by Leigh Bardugo (Good reads/ General Hype) I started The Grisha Universe in December 2019, and I have since moved onto Six of Crows. I enjoy this world, these characters, and this writing so much, and I can’t wait to continue. The last book in the current duology about one of the characters from the original trilogy will end next year. While I do miss Alina, I prefer the characters from Six of Crows more. 2- A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas (GR/Blogs/hype) I’ve talked about this series for years on my blog. I love for SJM and I’ll read her books. Back in 2018, I had heard so much hype from Good Reads, Bloggers, and other b

In The Queue Where it Happens

Hi! I know I've been a little busy this week, but I wanted to do the post I do on media not related to books today.   Movies and TV I truly can't remember the last movie and I watched, and that's sad because I do like watching movies. I believe the last one was Halloween Town at the beginning of the month. As I type this, I am watching One Day at a Time, and this is the most recent TV show I've watched when I'm not watching a cooking show on The Food Network. I feel like this a good show to enjoy as I'm working on other stuff, maybe not while I'm reading, but for writing blog posts, and writing things for novels, this show is perfect. I never watched the older show, but I was so enthralled by the new show from the first few episodes. I love this show and the dynamic, also, I love that CBS is airing season 4 on the major network because I never saw those, and Netflix removed the show. Currently, I am on episode 3x06.    Once this is done, I will move onto J

In the Queue Where it Happens

Hi! This is a post I did a few weeks ago, and I want to do another one. This post is a place for me to discuss other media I'm enjoying right now that isn't books. Yes, the title of this post is inspired by Hamilton.  TV I have watched nothing other than The Food Network for weeks. I have plans to finish One Day at A Time. I need to get back to High School Musical: The Musical: The series enjoyed what I watched of that show, and it brought back so much nostalgia from watching the movies. Julie and the Phantoms and Emily in Paris on my list, I've been told by a few people that I would enjoy them.  Eventually, I would like to get to The Babysitters Club on Netflix.  Movies I finally watched a movie last Tuesday! The Disney Channel wasn't in the house when I was younger, so I watched Halloweentown. I really enjoyed it, and I plan on finishing the rest of those this month. It's a spooky season, so I'll be watching other Halloween related movies this month. On the
