Top Ten Tuesday on a Wednesday!

Hello! Yesterday got away from me and I just didn't have time to post my TTT. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Janna  @thatartsyreadergirl . The purpose of the meme is to have the opportunity for bloggers to come together and discuss books based on a prompt. This week, we were supposed to do a freebie based on covers, however; I missed the week where we posted our Top Ten Books of 2019, so I've deiced to do that this week. 1- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid I read this book over the summer of last year and I feel in love. Every part of this book was fantastic and so deserves the hype. I would love to read more of Taylor Jenkins Reid backlist, I've only read Evelyn Hugo, and Daisy Jones and the Six.  2- Comic Will Break Your Heart by Faith Erin Hicks This was a buy based on a blurb I read on Goodreads or Book Riot, and I read it when it came out in Feb of last year. I was very impressed with this debut and I can't wait to see mor

Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl , the weekly meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the community together. This weekly, the topic was 10 recent additions to your shelf, this would be a tad boring for me because I got two large series for Christmas. Anyway, here are my ten most recent additions to my Goodreads want-to-read shelf. I'll link the books to the Goodreads page by the title being a link. 644-  Lion (Faeries of Oz 0.5) by Amber R. Mix it Up Monday's - The McElroy Family!

Hello! I know I was gone for a while but I'm back! Now, you might wonder  what Mix It Up Monday is, and honestly, I'm still trying to figure out my plan for these posts. The short version is that these posts will be non book  related  because I realized I had more I wanted to discuss, and I want to take a day once a week, or once every two weeks, for these types of posts for other fandom-related discussions.  Some weeks it will be podcasts, others it will be theater related , while others could be tv or films.  I thought it would be fun, and I hope you enjoy them.    To kick off this series, I wanted to talk about my favorite family of podcasters, and some of my favorite content creators, the McElroy  family! The family is made up of Justin, Travis, Griffin, and Clint McElroy. The podcast with all four of them is Dungeons and Dragons related, although there was an arc where they played Monster of the Week. I want to talk a bit about the podcasts below.   The Adventu

Can't Wait Wednesday- Yes No Maybe So

Hello! Can't-Wait Wednesday is hosted by  Tressa @wishfulendings . The purpose is to feature a book, usually unpublished, that you can't wait to read. This week, I'm featuring Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli and Aisa Saeed.  Information comes from Goodreads.   Expected Publication Date- February 4th by Balzer & Bray Summary New York Times   bestselling authors Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed have crafted a resonant, funny, and memorable story about the power of love and resistance.  YES Jamie Goldberg is cool with volunteering for his local state senate candidate—as long as he’s behind the scenes. When it comes to speaking to strangers (or , let’s face it, speaking  at all to  almost anyone), Jamie’s a choke artist. There’s no way he’d ever knock on doors to ask people for their votes … until he meets Maya. NO Maya Rehman’s having the worst Ramadan ever. Her best friend is too busy to hang out, her summer trip is canceled , and now her parents are

Top Ten Tuesday - Anticipated 2020 Releases Winter Edition

Hello! Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday of 2020! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by  Jana@thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Our topic this week is the books we're anticipating in the winter of 2020!  I will link to the books on Goodreads and give some reasons I'm looking forward to reading them. 1- Just Breathe by Cammie McGovern Goodreads page for the book.  I read the first chapter of this, and I loved it so much. This year, I want to diversify my reading more in 2020. The main character has Cystic Fibrosis, and I've never read a book with a main character that had that. The Fault of Our Stars is a book I love, and I got those vibes when I read the first chapter. The story seems so sweet and I can't wait to read it. 2- Infinity Son (Cycle # 1) by Adam Silvera Goodreads page for the book . I read What If It's Us last year, and that was the first book I read by him. I'm no
