This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...

Hello! It's the end of the month  so it's time for another wrap up! Despite being extra busy I still managed to read 2 books, finish 3 books from March and April, and start 2 new books! I want to talk about the books as they come up on the list. Favorite Read- Romanov Books Read this month The Prince and The Dressmaker by Jen Wang Rating- 5 stars Format- Ebook Read from-  May 12th- May 17th Favorite Character- Frances This was a buddy read for a task in the Group Challenge I'm in on Goodreads. It was a ton of fun and I loved the story. If you want a story that talks about identity and acceptance this Graphic Novel is great. Also, it features a cute friendship that I couldn't get enough of. Hello! This is another late post, but I wanted to out this put up as well . This meme is from  This Goodreads Group . I have not read a ton about Mental Health, but I found five. 1- Turtles All  the Way Down by John Green Rep- OCD This is my favorite John Green Novel! I felt the representation of OCD presented in this was excellent, but I don't know if it's positive or not as I don't suffer from OCD myself. How OCD is woven into this book helped me see Aza as in a new light because I saw what she went through. 2- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell Rep- Anxiety Yeah yeah I'll make this quick. Cath's Anxiety is all over this book and I personally felt this was a great way to show how anxiety can affect someone.  3-  Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia Rep- Anxiety This was another book where anxiety was  represented by the main character Eliza. As with the previous book, I felt this was a great way to show the effects of Anxiety on a person. ...

Hello! I know this post is two days late, but I really wanted to get it up even if it was late. Our host for this meme is Shanah  @bionicbookworm . I have fun with this meme so I thought I would post this today. In the summer I read whatever I want usually, but I enjoy keeping it light as the weather is warmer. 1- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell I needed to put my favorite YA Contemporary  on the list. I discuss this book a lot, but I really love it and I think it is the perfect book for summer.  This light read about a woman named Cather Avery is about finding love and accepting yourself for who you are. The bonus for us readers is that Cath is a reader and a writer.  2- Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli I could have also out Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda here, but I wanted to highlight this one as I have highlighted the other one in the past. Welcome back! I am in a time crunch today but I still wanted to put this up. As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana at  @thatartsyreadergirl . Every Tuesday, book bloggers gather and make a list of books based on a prompt. Today's topic is Top Ten Favorite Books of the last ten years, one book per year. I know that I discuss most of these books a lot, so I'll be brief with most of these.  1- 2009 Catch Fire by Suzanne Collins This is the second book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. The Hunger Games was my introduction to Dystopian  YA, and I am so thankful for this series. I enjoy both the book and the movie. 2- 2010 Mockingjay by Suzanne collins The final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy also needed to make this list for the reasons I started above.
