Top Ten Tuesday- Book characters linked to Halloween candy!!

Welcome Back! I know I’ve been saying that I will be back and blogging more. Life happened last week, I had an appointment last week, and I just got lazy after that. I’m planning to be back more this week and get posting again this week. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl .  This was born out of a love of lists and bringing the bookish community together. This week is a Halloween Freebie. I’m not into the horror or mystery genres. I wanted to do my top 8 Halloween candies and pick a character that reminds me of them. 1- Chocolate Rhys from A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas because he is smooth. This was a no brainier for me. Rhys is smooth, and he always knows what to say. He is charming and flirtatious so he was reminds me of chocolate no question. 2- Reese’s cups Claudia from Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills because she is sweet but has the determination to get what she wants. I read this book ...

Top Ten Tuesday - 5 star predictions

Hi! I know I've been Mia and I keep saying I'll come back. I will come back to blogging this week. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl , each week, we get a new topic or a new prompt. This week, we are supposed to talk about titles we would want to change. I wanted to do something different, so this is ten books I want to be five star reads. I will use books I already own, books I'm looking forward too, and releases coming out this year I want to read. 1- Renegades by Marissa Meyer I’ve had this book since release year, I’m I got it that year, anyway. Frankly, I’m not sure why I have not read this one yet. The story seems right up my alley so I want to read this before the end of the year. Superheroes are my jam, and I can’t wait for this story. 2- The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett I needed to add a few classics on here because I’m me. Anyway, I’ve had this book for years and just never read it yet. I can’t wait ...

Things that make me love a character and personality traits I love in characters 1- Musical/ Theatrical If you all know me, you know that my other big passion in life is music and theater. If a character loves music or theater, you know that I will love them....

September Wrap Up & October TBR

.  Hi! I know I’ve been posting less and less over the last few weeks but I want to do better at posting here and getting the rest of my things done. Anyway, I’m combining the posts because I only finished two books in September. I enjoy writing about my life here and what I’m doing so I might make a more personal related or life related wrap up and a bookish one. Also, It’s my birth month!!!! September Finished  I only finished two books and one of those was on the 29th. Carry On Simon by Rainbow Rowell Rating ***** (5 Stars) read from July 29th - September 24th Luckily I got the B&N Edition of Wayward Son so it showed up the next day not the day it came out. If you follow me on Good Reads, you know that I enjoyed this reread so much more. It might have been that I bounced right back into this after Fangirl so I was just already into the world in a way. This novel is a wild ride and during the reread I was more engaged with their story. Soul...

Top Ten Tuesday-books I want to read this fall

Hi I'm back! I took an unexpected hiatus last week but I'm back this week. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Janna  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme is based on a love of lists and bringing the book community together. I'm trying to not do a tbr because I'm a becoming more and more of a mood reader. A tbr seems more and more restricting to me so this is a list of books I'd like to read before the end of the year. There will be other books but I'm not sure when I'll get a copy of them so I left them off the list here. Yes, I know this is more than 10 but I want to hit more than 10 books before the end of the year.  1- The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan (reread) With my Birthday next month I ’m going to ask for the whole series. I only have the first book which I read the summer of 2018. I really loved the story but I need to reread it so I can continue the series. I love Rick Riordan and his style.  2- Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks ...

Top Ten Tuesday- Books on my tbr I haven't read and why

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl . This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Our topic for this week is Books on our tbr that  we have not read and why. This topic was suggested by Caitlin Althea . I picked books that I own either as a physical book or an Ebook. 1- Renegades by Marissa Meyer I love Superheros so I’m not sure why I have not read this yet. This is the only book I have by her, but I will get The Lunar Chronicles for Christmas this year. The author is beloved in the community and the trilogy seems to be hyped . Hype and this book not living up for the hype for me is why I have not picked this up. 2- Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery I wanted to put a classic on this list. This book is a classic and I have a feeling why I have not read this yet is because it’s a classic and I feel I need to enjoy it because it’s so beloved. My reasoning...
