Top Ten Tuesday-Books that make me smile

Hello! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @thatartsyreadergirl. Top Ten Tuesday was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Our topic this week is books that make me smile submitted by  Julia@pagesforthoughts. I choose my books this week based on the vibes of the book that made me smile while reading.

Books that make me smile (YA and NA)

1- Red, White and Royal Blue

Yes, I know it's kind of cheating to put a book I haven't finished on this list. The cute vibes are undeniable and I love them. Henry and  Alex are so cute.

2- The Night Circus

This book has the Historical Fantasy vibes, and I was so swept up in the world and the characters. I will make plans to reread this t the same time I read A Starless Sea by this author.

3- Yes, No Maybe So

This book has cute YA contemporary vibes. The pivotal characters Jamie and Maya were such a sweet romance.

4- Get A Life, Chloe Brown

This is the other NA on the list. Chloe and Red were enemies to lovers, and I loved seeing their story and the relationship play out.

5- Romanov

Romanov is an Anastasia retelling with a twist. I enjoyed the unique Historical Fiction mixed with Fantasy vibes.

6- Fangirl

You all know how much I love this book. The vibes of this book are fandom, a sweet romance, and friendship.

7- A Court of Mist and Fury

I wanted to have one sole Fantasy book on this list. I picked this one because it's my favorite of this series so far. I love the found family vibes.

8- Percy Jackson

Sure, this series might be Middle Grade, but I love these books so much. I love the found family, and mythology vibes.

9- Foolish Hearts

This is another YA contemporary novel I read last year. I loved the friendship, romance, and theatre vibes.

10- The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue

Last but not least, we have this Historical Fiction with Victorian vibes. I love the LGBTQ+ vibes in this trilogy as well.

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I am taking part in the weekly memes  The Sunday Post hosted by caffeinatedbookreviewer and Stacking The Shelves hosted by .tyngasreviews . I have had a great time coming up with the updates for these posts in the last few weeks and so I will keep doing them. Life This week was crazy for me because I had a a work blog due. While I enjoyed doing the post, it was more research than I had allotted for, so I just needed to spend more time on the blog than normal. Other than that it was an easy week. I got some read in and I got a new chapter up for my fanfic. Yesterday, we spent a lot of time in the backyard and shoveling stone for the yard. Read I just finished China Rich Girlfriend earlier today! All For One Alex &Eliza #3 is still so much fun and I think it is my favorite book of the trilogy still. Currently, I am on page 184/391 I read some The Princess and the Fangirl and I am 50% done. Rather than pushing it for the next few days, I deci...

Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite Books of the Year Part 1 (12-21)

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @ thatartsyreadergirl . The purpose of this meme was to bring the book blogging community together and foster our love of lists. Each week, Jana posts a topic, and we readers respond based on that prompt. This week our topic is a freebie, so I decided to make my list of my top ten reads part one.   Middle Grade 12- Never After by Melissa de la Cruz I'm almost done with this book. It's a duology, and I loved the new twist on fairy tales.    YA 13- Don’t Read the Comments by Eric Smith I read this early in the year and it stuck with me. This YA Contemporary about gaming and the culture of the gaming industry was fantastic.  14- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak It took me years to read this book but I really enjoyed it. I love the unique narrator, the characters, and the story.  15- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas This is another backlist release. I loved this book, and I knew when I read it that it had the potential to be...

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I will link up to  The Sunday Post  hosted by  /caffeinatedbookreviewer  and Stacking the Shelves hosted by  tyngasreviews . Life This week was busier than usual because I ended up going to Peter Pan Jr rehearsals in the afternoon so I could  work with the music cues. The show opens this coming Friday, and this week is Tech Week, which is a four days where the cast will be able to work with lights, sound, mics, costumes, makeup, and basically run the show and get notes. The cast is 3rd-8th graders. I've been helping for years and I love it, although because I love Peter Pan, I have a soft spot for this show in particular. Other than that it was a relaxing week. Read I started Rich People Problems by  Kevin Kwan on Monday. I am 21% done, and I already love this book. I might not love it as much as I loved China Rich Girlfriend, but it's still early.  All For One was the plan to finish last week, but I still have ...
