Top Ten Tuesday 7/30/19 Top books for the first half of 2019 Hey! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Our Host is Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl .   This was a meme that was born out of a love of list and bringing bloggers together. Our topic this week is a Freebie, mean we could talk about anything related to books or reading. I choose to do my Top Ten books of the first part of 2019. I have some releases coming out later on in the year, which I am sure will knock at least four of these off this list, so I wanted to take the opportunity to feature them now. Hello! I wanted to celebrate the Hadestown Cast recording being released today by doing the Greek Gods book tag. For that don't know, Hadestown is a Broadway musical that is a retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice. The tag creator and photos are  here.   I got the prompts and photos from  here . A favorite book is tough for me because I have categories of books based on genre. I will say here that my favorite book is Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. This was one of the first classics I read when I was my 20's and I love this story so much. Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Our topic this week book settings you want to see more of ( or at all). I did my own take on  this because I could not really think of settings I want to see more of. Some or most of these could fall under both. This book settings I want to read more of, feel free to add recommendations in the comments.  1- Russia I have read a few books that take place in Russia, both were historical fiction. Russia seems to be the inspiration for Fantasy worlds, such as in the Grisha Verse, which I will read at least the first three by the end of the year. What I want is a story that is set in Russia, a modern story perhaps because Russia always seems to be Historical Fiction? Summer Celebrations The first part of this prompt asks if there are any celebrations you personally take part in throughout the season. Hello! So I have not been as active in the book blogging community lately and I want to get back into this blog with more than just one post a week here.  The Sunday Post  is hosted by  @caffeinatedbookreviewer . Off the blog I had a pretty busy week. Last Sunday, my dad and I went to a concert to see Caissie Levy, one of my favorite Broadway performers, and currently Elsa in Broadway's Frozen, with The Ocean City Pops. We had gone down early, played mini golf, and gotten dinner at a new restaurant to the Broadway this summer. If you ever find yourself in Ocean City I recommend KPop, we both had the rice bowls. The concert was amazing, and I  was so happy I went. The other big event was Jersey Boys in Atlantic City for my sister's birthday. We went to the show as a family on her birthday. I had a good time, but I feel that the second act of the musical could be tightened a bit. I was in a competition in an online community last week, and I had a great time ...

Our topic this week is Autobuy Authors. 1- Rainbow Rowell Shocking I know. Just kidding, I have not read her whole catalog, but I've read most of them. My favorite I've read by her is Fangirl. I love her style and her way with characters. 2- Sarah J. Maas One of my favorite Fantasy Authors! My favorite book by her is A Court of Mist and Fury. I read the whole A Court Of Thorns and Roses series last year, and I love it so much. What I love most about Maas is her ability to draw you into a world and have characters you want to root to see win in the end.
