Update & About the blogger

Hello,

I wanted to take this time to give an update about what I am doing, and what has been going on within my world,  I would also like to take the time to tell you all about myself, just you that you feel that you can get to know me better. I will end this post with the different things that you will find on this blog this month.

Update

I am almost done with my Bachelor's, and I will be graduating in December. It has been a long time coming, but I am very excited that I am almost done.  I am not sure what I will do after graduation, but I would like to work for an online site as a writer, or I would like to do some freelancing work. I love writing, and it's very much my passion nowadays. I write mostly in the Young Adult vain, and I love it so much.

A few months ago, I joined a theatre board to help out. Over the last two months, I have become a full-time member of this board, and I write weekly theatre editorials. What  I love most about it is coming up with what I am going to explore that week, every week is different, and that is what is always exciting for me. I have touched on the more popular musicals such as Wicked, and some lesser known ones such as Kiss Me Kate and Finding Neverland. The people that I work with on the site are exceptional, and I could not ask for a better group of people to go on this journey with.

I was a writing intern, and this was such an invaluable experience for me. I learned so much about the world of online media.

About the blogger

I tried to find a list of questions or a survey to fill out, but I was not able to find one so that I that I write about a few that come to me.

As a fan of Musical Theatre, you might be wondering what my favorite musical is. My favorite musicals are  Les Miserables and The Great Comet, also called Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812. I have loved Les Mis for years, and it has always been a source of joy for me. The Great Comet was the most unique show I have ever seen, and so that is why it takes my number one spot as well.

I have some musicals that are not talked about enough that I feel should be. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is that show for me. I have not seen it yet, but I hope to one day, the reason why I love the musical is because of the cast recording. This was a story like I had never heard when it came out, and I would so thankful it came into my life when it did. I love the plot and the characters.

Seeing as I am also a book blogger, people might be wonder what kind of books I read. Just like with writing, I read a lot in the Young Adult Fiction. I am going to start post more about what books I'm reading, books I am looking forward to reading, characters I love, and book tags.

Posts for this month

I would like to end this blog by saying that I plan to use this blog more. I enjoy the outlet, and I love writing about my different interests.

I plan to do two posts on musicals this month, maybe a top 10 or my mount Rushmore of musicals could be fun. I would also like to try and bring back  Musical Mondays. I miss working on that, and it was one of the highlights of my week, I just got busy doing other things.

I plan to do two book posts this month as well, the top ten books I love, or a Mount Rushmore of books could be fun. I am reading To Kill A Mockingbird at the moment, and I would love to write a review for that. Booktags are so much fun, and I am going to do a few book tags.

Thanks for reading, and I hope that you're doing well.

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  ...

This week our topic is a freebie, so I decided to make my list of my top ten reads part one.   Middle Grade 12- Never After by Melissa de la Cruz I'm almost done with this book.
