In The Queue Where it Happens

 



Hi! I know I've been a little busy this week, but I wanted to do the post I do on media not related to books today.  


Movies and TV

I truly can't remember the last movie and I watched, and that's sad because I do like watching movies. I believe the last one was Halloween Town at the beginning of the month. As I type this, I am watching One Day at a Time, and this is the most recent TV show I've watched when I'm not watching a cooking show on The Food Network. I feel like this a good show to enjoy as I'm working on other stuff, maybe not while I'm reading, but for writing blog posts, and writing things for novels, this show is perfect. I never watched the older show, but I was so enthralled by the new show from the first few episodes. I love this show and the dynamic, also, I love that CBS is airing season 4 on the major network because I never saw those, and Netflix removed the show. Currently, I am on episode 3x06.    Once this is done, I will move onto Julie and the Phantoms, or Emily in Paris probably. I have a plan to move onto shows on Disney Plus as well. 

Theater and Musicals


I'm going to keep this section short because I still love the musicals I talked about in my last post. My reason for not skipping this section is because they announced the 2020 Tony Award nominations yesterday. I just want to say that I don't think they should have a ceremony this year. The season was cut short, and I feel that every show should have gotten a fair shot. I am happy about the shows that got nominated, and I will probably watch the show. My other thing is that I think that The Lighting Thief should have at least gotten a nomination, it's the only original musical of the eligible season, and they got nothing. 

Games and Streams 



I am still Enjoying Among Us, and I only play that game with people I know. Hayday is a game I've played for years, and I love my farm and town, although it can get boring after a while. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is the app version of Animal Crossing, I played for a bit, but stopped and removed the app. I am playing this game again and it's so cute. 


I'm still watching the same three streamers I was watching when I last posted. 

Podcasts

I have a confession to make: I am still every behind on every podcast I've ever talked about. I wanted to get more into them, but I just need to find the time.

    I don't know if it's a helpful tip but I always listen to podcasts whenever I'm doing a chore like doing the dishes, cleaning etc. I also always listen to at least one episode of whatever podcast I'm listening to atm when I'm in bed before I go to sleep. :)

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. Top Ten Tuesday - Unpopular Bookish opinions

Welcome Back! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by  thatartsyreadergirl . This week the top is unpopular bookish opinions, was submitted by Kaitlin Galvan at  somehowimanageablog . I don't think I have that many unpopular opinions, but We'll see if I can get to ten. I do not mean this to be a personal attack. I know some of these will get into beloved areas of book community, so take these as just my opinions. 1- I have only read one Harry Potter book, and will probably never read the rest. Yes, I know how odd this makes me sound. I was a Twilight kid, and I preferred those over Harry Potter.
