Top Tne Tuesday- Characters I want an update from

 

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl. This weekly meme was brought on by a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will write our response to the prompt in question. We also have the option to do our own thing that week. This week, our topic is Characters I’d Love An Update On. This is fun, and I can’t wait to see what others say as well. The titles are separated by Genre for easy access. I put a few couples together because I would like an update on both of them. This is from last week, but I never got around to posting it. I thought I would share it this week because it was finished. 

 

Adult

1- Alex and Henry from Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

I would mainly want to know if they’re still together.

2- August and Jane from One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

Same as above, I would love an update on their romantic status.

3- Addie from The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

What happens to her after the book ends? I need to know!!!!

4- Marisol from Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton

I just want to know what she did after the book ends. I loved the story and her character. I would just love to know what she’s doing.

 

YA

5- Liz from You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson

I need to know if Liz is enjoying college, and what she is doing with her life now. Also, I need to know if she is still seeing Amanda.

6- Lila from A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow by Laura Taylor Namey

This is more of another life update from a character I really enjoyed reading about this year. I need to know what she is doing, and how the bakery is going for her.

7- Yadriel by Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

I’m in the middle of a reread of this and man oh man I love it so much. I really enjoy Yadriel as a character, and I just want to know what happens to him after Cemetery Boys ends. I hope we get a sequel or a companion novel with some answers and updates. Until I know for sure what he is doing, I am wishing to know what is going on with his life.

8- Fat Chance, Charlie Vega by Crystal Maldonado

This was a book I read on a whim, and because it was the book for a team prompt for a readathon this year. I just want a general life update from Charlie to see how she is doing.

9- Tash from Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee

Tash is one of my favorite YA characters. I want to know how college is going for her and her friends. If they don’t go to college, I want to know what they’re doing with their lives.

Middle Grade

10- Ariel from How To Find What You’re Not Looking For by Veera Hiranandani

I loved this Middle-Grade story I got from Bookish First this year. The story follows Ariel and I just want to know what she is up to after the end of the story.

Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. Top Ten Tuesday books/ series I would recommend to someone who says don’t like to read.

  Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl . This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a topic, and we will all make a list based on that topic. This week, the topic is Books Written Before I Was Born ( These can be books you’ve read or want to read! ) ( submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog ). I wasn’t feeling this, and so I went through and found a post from The Broke & the Bookish, and I did that. The original post can  be found here . I thought I would recommend some books from some of my favorite genres.   The Classics 1- Pride & Prejudice This is one of my favorite classics, and when making my list this week, I knew I needed to include it. The reason is that I think this is one of the best books by Jane Austen, and we use the story in a lot of modern media. 2- To Kill A Mocking Bird I was so surprised by how much I loved this

Top Ten Tuesday-Books I want to reread

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by  Jana@thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and brings the book blogging community together. Each week Jana posts a topic, and we book bloggers write a response. This week, it's books I want to reread.  1- Pride & Prejudice   This is a classic I’ve read twice, I think? At least once, anyway, I love this novel so much. My favorite character in the book is Lizzie. I also miss the story. Maybe in 2021? Anyway, I miss this book and I want to reread it. 2- Foolish Hearts   I read this book in the summer of 2019. I had been in a bit of a slump at the time, so this pulled me out of it. I read the novel in about two weeks, and I just loved it so much. My favorite character is Claudia, and I want to revisit the book. That this involves theatre is another reason I need to reread this book ASAP. 3- After Anatevka   I know I talk about this book so much on the blog. I read this a few years ago now, and I want to revisit the charact
