Supergirl 2x10 review

Supergirl 2x10 review
Airdate:01/30/17
Rating *****(5 Stars)
The episode starts with Kara and Mon-El/Kal in training, they’re training their powers. Maggie and other police officers then found homeless people. The girl that Jon was keeping watch at the DEO screams, and her cell breaks and she is on her death bed. Livewire and another villain are the villains of the week this week. Kara is trying to find live wire, to see if she can defeat her this time. Kara finds James and Mon-El in a room with Livewire, they’re only trying to help her and she ends up helping the, but Livewire and another guy leave. Kara finds out that Winn had built James a suit, and that he had been fighting, and she wants him to stop she knows that he wants to help but he has no real powers.  The girl from Jon’s planet dies, but he talks to her and she comes back to live. The episode ends with Kara and Mon talking, and they still want to work together.

Some of my favorite quotes this episode were: ”Is that the suit I made?!Did you get shot?!”-Winn “Don’t worry about me just help them.”-Kara “You all Knew?!”-Kara “You’re cosplay sucks.”-Live Wire “We could braid each other’s hair.”-Live Wire “we could go back to the way things were superfriends?”- Kara “See you tomorrow partner.”-Mon

I loved this episode and it was a very solid episode for me. I loved that there was a female villain, we don’t see many female villains, and so this was a nice change and a welcomed one.  I loved the fact that there was an interesting villain storyline to go around with her, some of them to me seem like they’re the same old same old, but she had a uniqueness about it. I loved James and Mon trying to help, I know that James doesn’t have any powers, but he just wants to help people. I loved the family aspect of this episode between Jon, Alex, and Kara and the fact that Alex helped her.

The two things that I really didn’t like about this episode was the way that Kara treated Winn and James, in my opinion they were friends and worked together. They should at least try and be friends, even though yes going behind her back was wrong, but they were just trying to help her. I would love for them to continue being friends, and try and keep it as drama free as possible. The other thing was the lack of Alex, sure she helped the girl that was dying, but as a supporting character she should have been used more.  She should have helped out even without powers, as an FBI agent and with her skills she could have been used more.

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I am taking part in the weekly memes  The Sunday Post hosted by caffeinatedbookreviewer and Stacking The Shelves hosted by .tyngasreviews . I have had a great time coming up with the updates for these posts in the last few weeks and so I will keep doing them. Life This week was crazy for me because I had a a work blog due. While I enjoyed doing the post, it was more research than I had allotted for, so I just needed to spend more time on the blog than normal. Other than that it was an easy week. I got some read in and I got a new chapter up for my fanfic. Yesterday, we spent a lot of time in the backyard and shoveling stone for the yard. Read I just finished China Rich Girlfriend earlier today! All For One Alex &Eliza #3 is still so much fun and I think it is my favorite book of the trilogy still. Currently, I am on page 184/391 I read some The Princess and the Fangirl and I am 50% done. Rather than pushing it for the next few days, I deci...

Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite Books of the Year Part 1 (12-21)

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @ thatartsyreadergirl . The purpose of this meme was to bring the book blogging community together and foster our love of lists. Each week, Jana posts a topic, and we readers respond based on that prompt. This week our topic is a freebie, so I decided to make my list of my top ten reads part one.   Middle Grade 12- Never After by Melissa de la Cruz I'm almost done with this book. It's a duology, and I loved the new twist on fairy tales.    YA 13- Don’t Read the Comments by Eric Smith I read this early in the year and it stuck with me. This YA Contemporary about gaming and the culture of the gaming industry was fantastic.  14- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak It took me years to read this book but I really enjoyed it. I love the unique narrator, the characters, and the story.  15- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas This is another backlist release. I loved this book, and I knew when I read it that it had the potential to be...

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I will link up to  The Sunday Post  hosted by  /caffeinatedbookreviewer  and Stacking the Shelves hosted by  tyngasreviews . Life This week was busier than usual because I ended up going to Peter Pan Jr rehearsals in the afternoon so I could  work with the music cues. The show opens this coming Friday, and this week is Tech Week, which is a four days where the cast will be able to work with lights, sound, mics, costumes, makeup, and basically run the show and get notes. The cast is 3rd-8th graders. I've been helping for years and I love it, although because I love Peter Pan, I have a soft spot for this show in particular. Other than that it was a relaxing week. Read I started Rich People Problems by  Kevin Kwan on Monday. I am 21% done, and I already love this book. I might not love it as much as I loved China Rich Girlfriend, but it's still early.  All For One was the plan to finish last week, but I still have ...
