High School Musical Book tag

Hi! I’m going to start High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2  today. To celebrate the new season, I am doing the High School Musical Book tag! I pulled the tag from- Here.

The Start of Something New: A new favorite genre/author/series

I will not stop talking about these books, so I think you all know but my new favorite series is Fearless by Mandy Gonzalez. Mandy Gonzalez is also a new favorite author.

What I’ve Been Looking For: A book that has everything you’ve always wanted

I’m a tough reader so I’m going to go with a book that came close. Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I loved the story, the characters, and the romance was just–chefs kiss-.

Fabulous: A book with the biggest diva

I’m not sure what book to say here. The one that came to my mind first was When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton because of Beatriz. I understand where Beatriz is coming from, but I still think she can be a diva.

Boys are Back: The best bromance

I have to go with Jesper and Kaz from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I just love their dynamic.

What Time Is It?: The best summer read

I have several summer reads but I have to go with Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton. I know I used the second book before, but I think the mixture of Historical and Contemporary Fiction with a dash of romance is perfect for summer.

Everyday: If you had to look at one book cover every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I own a lot of pretty covers. I have to say Romanov by Nadine Brandis.

Scream: A character that frustrated you

I don’t have many but Mal from Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I am going by the books here, but I’m not one of those that fell in love with his character in the books.

Just Wanna Be With You: A book you couldn’t put down

I have a lot of books I could use for this one. 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston because I fell in love with the story and the characters when I read it last December.

Humuhumunukunukuapua’a: The most ridiculous book/scene/character you have ever read

I have two books that came to mind right away. American Royals by Katharine McGee the book was good but it was reading a soap opera on the page with all the drama.

High School Musical: Your favorite fictional school

I’ve read about some fantastic schools. I have to go with Creekwood because they seem to have a great theatre program, and the kids there were friendly mostly. I just want to be friends with Simon and the Creekwood gang.

Spring Musical Medley: The happiest ending

I’ve read a lot of happy endings. I have to say The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue because it was just so sweet and happy.

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  ...

Top Ten Tuesday books/ series I would recommend to someone who says don’t like to read.

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl . This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a topic, and we will all make a list based on that topic. This week, the topic is Books Written Before I Was Born ( These can be books you’ve read or want to read! ) ( submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog ). I wasn’t feeling this, and so I went through and found a post from The Broke & the Bookish, and I did that. The original post can  be found here . I thought I would recommend some books from some of my favorite genres.   The Classics 1- Pride & Prejudice This is one of my favorite classics, and when making my list this week, I knew I needed to include it. The reason is that I think this is one of the best books by Jane Austen, and we use the story in a lot of modern media. 2- To Kill A Mocking Bird I was so surprised by how much...
