Legends of Tomorrow 2x08 review
Airdate: 12/1/16
Rating *****  (5 stars)
I would rate this episode higher if there was a high rating than 5 stars for a show or a movie;because this episode was perfect I wanted to start off by saying that. Kara was out for most of the episode; because at the beginning Oliver tells her that it would be best if she stays back; because she is an alien.  The main plot was the Dominators in Oregon in 1951, this happened to be the first time that they were cited in the 50’s and some of the crew saves one of them. In the present  one of the villains, or I believe that you are to assume that he is a villain because he knows what the Dominators want, and he says that if Barry doesn’t turn himself in for changing the timeline than they will get rid of all Meta Humans.   The team that took the Legends ship to 1951 comes back to present day 2016, and they help the team with the fight against the Dominators in our world. The another plot that happened was it was reveal that Martian had a daughter from when he went back to 1987, and after he came back to 2016 his daughter was there. He says at the end of the episode   that he will not tell the team about this;because he wants to keep his daughter around.

This episode was filled with some many quotable lines, and so many lines that I have not listed here. “”Yeah I’m with him to keep my geek but time travel”!-Felicity “You know you’re taking this absent-minded professor thing a little too far”. –Caitlin “Me are you going to use a Princess Bride reference on me”?!-Cisco “Because they have a beef with the media humans, tell us something we don’t know”!-Sara ‘Great saved by the geeks”. “Thank you Cisco I hadn’t noticed”.-Sara “I’m sorry I meant Supergirl and Flash, this is totally a job for both of you Supergirl and Flash”. –Felicity

I loved everything about the show, and just like with The Flash the other night I thought that it was the perfect crossover style episode. I think that Kara could have been used a little more sure, but I think that Oliver had a valid reason asking her stay behind a bit. I loved knowing more about the Dominators, and what they really wanted on our earth and why they had come back. I loved seeing Martian’s daughter, I know that she is a super minor character, but I loved seeing her and their dynamic together the two of them. I loved the end of the episode and at the party, and how Cisco had made Kara the device that she could use to teleport between the worlds, so that she could always come back.  I didn’t not like anything in this episode, I thought that it was the most perfect ending to the big crossover event from this week.

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  ...

Top Ten Tuesday books/ series I would recommend to someone who says don’t like to read.

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl . This weekly meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a topic, and we will all make a list based on that topic. This week, the topic is Books Written Before I Was Born ( These can be books you’ve read or want to read! ) ( submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog ). I wasn’t feeling this, and so I went through and found a post from The Broke & the Bookish, and I did that. The original post can  be found here . I thought I would recommend some books from some of my favorite genres.   The Classics 1- Pride & Prejudice This is one of my favorite classics, and when making my list this week, I knew I needed to include it. The reason is that I think this is one of the best books by Jane Austen, and we use the story in a lot of modern media. 2- To Kill A Mocking Bird I was so surprised by how much...
