The Flash 3x09 Mid-Season Finale Review contains spoilers
Rating *****(5 stars)
Original Airdate:12/6/16

I loved this episode so much, and I thought it was the perfect way to end the mid-season before it goes off the air for a little while. This episode was filled with so many moments of joy, and little pockets of things that made me happy, and reminded me why I love this show so much. The main plot this episode was with the villain from the philosopher’s stone,    it was released by Julian played by Tom Felton. Cisco keeps seeing his brother, and he doesn’t know why it is later revealed by his brother that if Cisco opens the box than it will bring his brother back to life.  He does this, and his brother doesn’t come back to life but the villain inside of the box is released, and the team must find a way to get rid of it.  Barry and the older flash run and throw the stone and the box into the speed force, but in doing so Barry sees the future and he sees the villain put a sword through her he saves her.  Another part of the episode was that Wally is working on his powers, and he ends up helping everyone fight the villain of the week. The last part was that it was Christmas themed, and for Christmas Barry gets a house for both him and Iris and she is shocked.

This was an episode with many quotable moments, and I only wanted to share a few of them with you here but watch the episode for more. “Then I’ll be ready we be ready.”-Barry   “I’m faster than Barry I’m faster than Barry.”-Wally “We used to fight all the time as kids, but that one Christmas we didn’t fight.”-Cisco “Where am I what’s going on?”-Julian “Says the man in the suite.”-Julian “Because you did this to me Barry your future self.”-Villain “I got you a wallet.”-Iris

I didn’t dislike anything about this episode, and in true The Flash fashion I was on the edge of my seat the whole time while watching it. I loved the mythology aspect of this episode, I’ve always been a fan of mythology to learning more about the villain of the week was a real treat for me. I loved learning more about Julian, I was late to the show only watching the first six episodes of season one   and then all of the episodes this season, and so this was a great introduction of his character for me. I once again loved that the team was working together, like every week the team working together to defeat the villains is my favorite thing about this show. I loved the fact that Barry got a house for him and Iris, I felt like it was a big  milestone for the two of them, and I was giddy about it.

Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  2- Miriam Kendrick from C
