Book Tag Thursdays

Hello! This is the Disney Song Book Tag which I found Here

Part of Your World- What book world would you change yourself for so you could be a part of that world?

The world of Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I would love to visit all the courts and become one with the Fey.

Let It Go- What book did you not want to finish because you loved it so much?

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I just finished the book today, and I miss the characters and the world already. I am going to grab the sequel soon.
Beauty and the Beast- What book do you think is/will be timeless?

The obvious answer is Harry Potter, but I've never read all the books only seen the movies and read the book one. I am going with Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. Fandom and young love will always be a thing, and Rainbow Rowell talks about both beautifully
So This is Love- What book were you hesitant to read at first but ended up loving?

No to use the same book for two answers, but The Cruel Prince. I heard the rave reviews and how some people didn't love it. I am not that into the fantasy genre, so you need to pull out a great story, great characters, and a world I can get lost in. The Cruel Prince had all of these things and more.

Friend Like Me- Which character would you like to be your best friend?

Oh! Ana from Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston. I love her spirit and her sass.

Reflection- What book really made you think/changed the way you viewed things?

I have to say for me this was Looking for Alaska by John Green. It brings so many interesting perspectives about life and the choices we make up in this book.

Colors of the Wind- Who do you tag?

I don't know many book bloggers as I'm new to the community I would say. So, I would like to tag anyone would want to do this.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...

Top Ten Tuesday-Favorite online bookish resources for readers

Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will make out lists based on that prompt. We also have the option of going rouge and doing our own thing. This week, our topic is Favor online bookish resources, which is bad for me, because I will add so many new accounts for sites that look interesting.   1- Goodreads I feel like every reader uses Goodreads. I love it for the reading challenges and finding reviews, but I should use the community aspect more.    2- Barnes and Noble I love using B&N for books because I love supporting bookstores. I use Amazon sometimes, but that's mostly for Ebooks I want or daily deals.    3- Likewise   This is an app that I enjoy using. You rate books and other media and it gives you recommendations. I love it beca...
