TTT- authors I love following on social media

Hi! Last week got crazy but I'm back now. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @thatartsyreadergirl. The weekly meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. The topic of the week is authors with a fun social media presence submitted by Kitty Marie’s Reading Corner, but I turned this into Authors I love following on social media. I love a fun social media account, and I'm more active on Twitter, so I put links to those accounts.

1- Jenny Han-https://twitter.com/jennyhan

I love her series To All The Boys I've Loved Before. Jenny is fun because she posts about life and the world.

Jay's account is so much fun because he will interact with fans and retweet fan art, and fan-made projects.  I just adore everything he tweets. I have read none of his books yet, but I plan to this year.

3- Holly Black-https://twitter.com/hollyblack

Holly Black has a big fanbase and is the author of server books. The Folk of Air was one of my favorite series in 2019, and I still have but read the last book because I don't want it to end. I love seeing her support friends.

4- Rick Riordan-https://twitter.com/camphalfblood

I love Rick Riordan for everything he does. I love the world of Percy Jackson and the Imprint he does for Authors of Color. My plan for this year is to try to read a book from the Imprint.

This author has only written one book which I enjoyed. The reason to follow Kristen if you're a writer is that she has a site called Well Storied. The other thing Kristen does is Story Social, a weekly chat for writers.

6- Leigh Bardugo- https://twitter.com/LBardugo

Leigh is a new favorite author of mine as I've been getting more into the Grisha Verse this year. Leigh interacts with the fans and retweets fan art, videos, and cosplays.

7- Victoria /V.E. Schwab-https://twitter.com/veschwab

I have read none of her books but I love her books yet but I love following her on Twitter. She posts fun tweets about her life and the world today.

I loved The Night Circus, and Erin's account is fun. I love reading what she posts.

9- Marie Lu-https://twitter.com/Marie_Lu

Marie Lu has this one tweet that's like "I tick toked" it's so funny and I love her so much. I loved her War Cross Dulology, and I'm interested in her Historical Fiction Debut that came out recently. Marie is just funny on Twitter.

10- Melissa de la Cruz-https://twitter.com/MelissadelaCruz

I debated who should get the number 10 spot. I ended up with Melissa because she is more known than the McElroy family. Melissa will tweet photos from tours and what she is work on and I love seeing what her current project is.

  4. Jay Kristoff made my list, too. His feed is pretty great. If you like him, you should definitely follow Sam Sykes. ;) I'm not following any of the others, but I'll definitely have to check them out!

    Here's my TTT post.

  7. Great list. I can't believe I forgot to put Rick Riordan on my list. I really enjoy his social media posts.

  8. I really don't follow many authors, but I have seen a lot of Tweets from many of these people via retweets. I know I muted a few of them, because it's never ok to wish a life threatening disease on someone, but there are a few, like Kristoff, who I think are hilarious.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...
