Top Ten Tuesday-Favorite online bookish resources for readers

 


Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl. This meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will make out lists based on that prompt. We also have the option of going rouge and doing our own thing. This week, our topic is Favor online bookish resources, which is bad for me, because I will add so many new accounts for sites that look interesting.

 

1- Goodreads

I feel like every reader uses Goodreads. I love it for the reading challenges and finding reviews, but I should use the community aspect more. 

 

2- Barnes and Noble

I love using B&N for books because I love supporting bookstores. I use Amazon sometimes, but that's mostly for Ebooks I want or daily deals. 

 

3- Likewise 

 This is an app that I enjoy using. You rate books and other media and it gives you recommendations. I love it because you can also ask for recs in the community and give recommendations to users. 

4-Libero.FM

 This is an audiobook site that supports local bookstores. I love it because buying a book from them keeps bookstores in business. 

5- Chirp

 I love using Chirp for Audiobook deals! 

6- The Storygraph

 This is like Goodreads but better because it has more prompts when you look up a book to find info about. Also, it has more challenges which I enjoy. 

7- Bookhype

 I love this site because it;'s simply a place where you can track your read but it lets you know when books on your tbr are coming out. 

8- Lithit

 This is an app that I started using recently. It has a way to shelf books, and it has fun backgrounds to show the books you're reading, or what you read that month, on social media. 

9- Bookriot

 I love love love Bookriot. They're my go-to website for bookish content. 

10- Litsy 

This is an app that is Bookstagram but for readers. I need to active on it again but I enjoy it.

    Same here with Goodreads. I love the site but just don't go there enough erghh. And I haven't been to Bookriot in ages!

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

  Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work.
