Top Ten Tuesdays -3/19/19

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesdays. This weekly Meme has been going since June 2010, and is now run by Jana over at thatartsyreadergirl since January 2018.

This weeks prompt is Spring TBR. I used the fact that I've got new releases coming, and many books that I would like to finally read.
1- I Was Anastasia by Ariel Lawhon - to start after I finish Last of Her Name

Published- Match 27th 2018

I want to continue my big Romanov reading year that I'm having right now. This book seems so much fun and I love it from the summary. I love Anastasia and so I can't wait to read this.

2- The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston

Expected Publication- April 2, 2019

I am currently reading Geekerella. I feel this is the next step when the book is released. I love the Geekerella Universe, and can't wait to go from one story in this world to the other one.  I love Ashley Poston as a writer and find her incredible.

3-  All For One (Alex & Eliza # 3) by Melissa de la Cruz

Expected Publication- April 16,2019

I plan on finishing this trilogy this spring . I have had a lot of fun with this book series and I can't wait to see where it goes in the final book.

4- A Sky Without Stars (System Divine # 1) by Jessica Brody, Joanne Rendell

Expected Publication- March 26, 2019

I have talked about this book on the blog a lot lately. I am such a huge fan of Les Miserables, I've read the book, seen the concerts, seen the movie, and seen the show many times. When I heard this Space Opera would read this the day it came out put in a pre order for the Ebook.

5- China Rich Girlfreind (Crazy Rich Asians  # 2) by Kevin Kwan

Published- June 16, 2015
Side note- that is not my cover that I will be reading from. My cover is blue. I am almost done with Crazy Rich Asians, so the next step would be to continue this trilogy., I don't know why I took this long to read the books, but I am really enjoying them.

6- Rich People Problems (Crazy Rich Asians # 3) By Kevin Kwan

Published- May 23, 2017

Why not round out my spring by finishing this series? Honestly, I will probably finish this series in May or June.Crazy Rich Asians is so much fun.

7- The Grisha Trilogy ( at least Shadow and Bone) by Leigh Bardugo

Published- June 5th, 2012

I have heard the praise for this series and I want to see what all the hype is about. I will probably also be reading Six Crows Duology, and King Of Scars before the year ends. I would love to read Wonder Woman- Warbringer as well. I can't wait to dive into this world.

Published-  February 13, 2018

I want to break up all the novels I'm reading with this Graphic Novel. I know that this came out last year, but I kind of forgot about it and then brought it early this year so I would have it.

9- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes

Expected Publication- May 7,2019

This is my most anticipated  release this spring. As I said before, I love Anastasia, and so this was an auto buy for me. I have never read this author, but I look forward to this story. PS- I love that cover so much.

10-  The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Published- June 13, 2017

I know I know I am behind the times here. This spring I would love to read this book to see what all the hype is about.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...
