  2. NO CHEATING. You get one shot to take each quiz my friends. I’m watching you. ∗Suspicious squinty eyes∗
  3. Use this post to give credit to the creator Loretta @ The Laughing Listener or tag me on Loretta @ The Laughing Listener twitter @LaughnListener so I can see everyone’s answers!!
  4. Tag some friends to spread the fun!

Red Queen
You're Maven!
Woah people better watch out because you are not one to be messed with! You hold all the power and the truth is what you make it. You could set this world on fire and call it rain! (But please don't.)

Response

I have not read this series, but I'm not sure this fits me. I'm not sure what character would fit me, but I'm not sure it's this one.

Shadow Hunters

You're Emma Carstairs & Jessamine Lovelace!

You have a reputation for being proud and vain, but there's nothing wrong with that! You can put your money where your mouth is, and your ambition coupled with your determination, passion, and skill makes you a force to be reckoned with.

Response

I've only read City Of Bones. None of these ladies where in that book, I just never continued becasue I really wasn't feeling it. It might that I read the book in my 20's not as a teen. This is a bit like me I'm not vain, but I do have ambition, determination, passion, and skill in my chosen field. I'm a bit proud but I would not call myself vain. I'm not sure who I would be in this universe maybe Simon .

Throne of Glass

You would be a combination of Rowan and Asterin!

You may come off as stand-offish at first, but once a new friend earns your loyalty, they have it for life. Not without good reason. You've been through your fair share of struggles and are careful to protect yourself from more.

Response

Another series I haven't read!!! I agree with this description though. I might come off as stand-offish but once you get to know me you see I'm loyal. I've had struggles in the past, and I really do try to protect myself in the world. These two characters seem so fun. I'm not sure who I would pick from this series.

The Hunger Games

You got: Johanna Mason!

Yes, you can be known to be feisty and sometimes you feel life can be unfair. But you won't let that get in the way of your happiness. You use your charms to your advantage and won't take any nonsense. But when you finally let the barriers down your personality shines and so do others around you.

Response

I don't know why I keep getting this style of character on these. I've read this series and I somewhat agree here. Sure, I might be feisty at times, but I think my kindness shines more.  I'm shy and inner when I first meet people, so that last part makes sense for me. I was thinking I would be Peeta.

Harry Potter

You got: Dolores Umbridge

You love sweet, fluffy, pink things, but you can be ruthless and bitchy when it comes to fulfilling your ambitions.

Response

Oh my god. This answer is just yikes. I love sweet, fully, pink things. I wanted  Luna.

A Court of Thorns and Roses

You got: Elain Archeron

The embodiment of beauty and grace, your gentle heart and soft words soothe the bitter hearts of those around you. Your kindness and courage are rarer than the strongest of High Fae powers - never lose them to bitterness and despair.

Response

Finally!! Someone I think is like me!!! I don't know about the embodiment of beauty part. The rest is 100% me.  I was thinking I would get Elain or Mor.

The Raven Cycle

You got: Noah Czerny

You are very observant, and mostly keep to yourself. A little too naive and gullible of others, your willingness to trust leads to you getting hurt quite often. You are extremely kind and loyal to those you love.

Response

One would think that I would not do this tag if I haven't read all the books but it looked fun. This is another series I've never read. Noah is someone I feel I can relate to.  All of this is me to a T.  I'm not familiar with the characters as to who I wanted.

Twilight

You got: Charlie Swan

Hey, Charlie. You're a cool dude. Just keep being your adorable oblivious self. Also, your daughter is now a vampire and your granddaughter is growing at the speed of life. Shouldn't you notice that?

Response

I don't know here. I can be oblivious at times. I could see myself as Charlie I think. I wanted Alice or Bella.

Folk of Air

You are Taryn!

People may think you're shy but you have secrets of your own. You have your own desires and will go after them, no matter what it takes.

Response

Noooooooo!!!! I'm not like her at all. I wanted Vivi.

The Lunar Chronicals

Cress

A Lunar shell confined to a satellite to aid Queen Levana with hacking and surveillance of Earthen countries. She is a petite girl with very long honey blonde hair, a heart-shaped face.
e. , and freckles. She has a very overactive imagination, and nervous around people due to her lack of social interaction growing up.
I have not
I
I have not read this book either. I am going to ask for them for Christmas this year as I feel like I would love them. I'm a petitie girl and I'm ok with technology but not enough to hack.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...
