Top Ten Tuesdays - Books I Never get rid of

Welcome back! Top Ten Tuesday is one of my favorite memes , so I enjoy doing this every week. Our host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl. The topic of books you've read that you don't own but want to add them to your library was submitted by  Annemieke @ A Dance with Books, I don't get a ton of arcs yet, I'm trying to build up my brand as a blogger. My NetGalley rating is really low. Some of that is due to that fact I don't know how to read them, I think I need the app. Anyway, this is books and series I will never get rid of because I love them too much.

1- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Please tell you were expecting this book. I love this story way too much to part with the novel. If I got rid of this, I would have withdraw I'm sure, so I just need to keep this book forever.

2- A Court Of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas

This series was my first fantasy that I truly loved. I passed on fantasy for years because I didn't think it was for me. I didn't I could get into a big fantasy world or enjoy the writing. This was a series that I devoured  last year when A Court of Frost and Starlight came out.  These characters are gems and I adore them so much. If I parted with these, I would be sad.

3- The Folk of Air Series (all three) by Holly Black

I'm aware that this series has a third book coming out this year. This is another fantasy series I flew through this year. I love Jude and her world, I don't love Taryn, but I have not read the novella yet I need to find a copy. I'm never departing with this series even though I might have three different versions of the books.

4- Heart of Iron duology by Ashley Poston

My other Ashley Poston books are Ebooks these two are my only hard covers I have by her. This is a Sci-Fi Anastasia retelling in a way. The first book was one of my favorite reads last year, and I am loving the second one right now. This duology turned me onto Sci-Fi and I've since read a few more. These books will always be my favorite Sci-Fi books.

5- After Anatevka by Alexandra Silber

I talk about this Historical Fiction a ton on my blog. This book is both nostalgic and new at the same time and I love it for that. I love Hodel and the other characters in this novel.  The story is fantastic and the characters are so well crafted. If I got rid of this, I would lose one of my favorite books and Historical Fiction's.

6- The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan

Listen, I read these as an adult in fact I read them like two years ago or maybe last year.  I love a good mythology and this is fantastic for teach kids, or even adults mythology. I need to reread The Lost Hero and get the rest of that series because I miss this world. The characters are quirky and the story is is a lot of fun.

7- Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee

I read this the year it came out and to this day I talk about it. This is much needed for a reread before the end of the year because I loved it so much. Not many people have read this I find, or if they have, they don't talk about it all that much. I had a connection with Tash which made me love this novel even more. I would never get rid of one of my favorite contemporary's.

8- Jane Austen Seven Novels by Jane Austen

I have a thick book of Jane Austen novels. I would never get rid of it because Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors.

9- All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher

Carrie Hope Fletcher is a favorite author of mine and this was the first book I read from her. This is memoir and advice book. I would like to keep this book because I would like to reread it when I need the advice. Also, the cover is purple and very cute.

10- The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue and The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy. I will add the novella to this as well.

The three main characters  and their friends are gems and I love them all so much. This Historical Fiction is action packed and I was so along for the ride. The European tour aspect in the first book drew me in and I knew that I was along for where this book would take me. The second book was a pirate adventure for a section and wow I was here for it.

  1. You can read NetGalley books through the Kindle app or on a Kindle, if you have one. :) It goes through your Amazon account.

I like your twist on the prompt! I've got a copy of TGGtVaV with a signed bookplate, and I love it. I don't have The Lady's Guide, though, but I'll need to remedy that soon! I love The Folk of Air series, too! So looking forward to the third book.

And oh dear me, I've ordered 3 copies of the books and I'm ordering all the book boxes of it too because of the later release editions of the first two books to match! Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...
