April 2021 TBR

Hi! I know it's also a little late to announce a TBR for the month, but I've been working at most of these for a few weeks already. I'm not doing any challenges other than Reading Rivalry and the TBR and Beyond Game. I talked about my tbr a few weeks ago, but I thought I would do it again here.

Physical Books

Love & War ( Alex & Eliza 2)- This book is not as good as the first one was for me. It's starting to pick up which is good.

Rule of Wolves- Ok, but can we talk about this book?! It is amazing and I love it so much. I'm 220 pages in and I just love it.

Fearless (Fearless Series Book 1)- I want to start this today, but if not definitely tomorrow! I'm excited to read it.

The Chance to Fly- I'm going to start this book Tuesday when it comes out.

Kate In Waiting- in checking I had all the books in the graphic I forgot Kate in Waiting was coming out this month. I'm looking forward to reading it!

A Court of Sliver Flames- If I'm not done this book by next weekend, you all have permission to yell at me. This book is heavy, and I just didn't bring it with me. I should either come close or pull an hour-plus session and just finish this book this weekend, maybe.

The House on the Cerulean Sea- I'm 77% of the way done this, and I've cried multiple times.

Everything Will Be Ok is my Non-Fiction read. It's been set on the back burner, so after I finish ACOSF I should put it back into the rotation.

Next Year In Havana is a new book. I love it so much and I should finish it this month or early next month.

Ebooks

The Hate U Give- for some reason, no images came up when I search in the Pic Collage app. I'm almost 50% done and oh man is this story amazing.

In The Neighborhood of True- This book has been on my tbr for a few years now. I'm really enjoying it.

Pride- I love love love love this book. I see the vibes of the original and am enjoying this new take.

That Way Madness Lies- this is a leftover from last month. I'm going to try to finish it this month. I'm loving all the stories.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...

Top Ten Tuesday-Favorite online bookish resources for readers

Hi! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday. Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists, and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will make out lists based on that prompt. We also have the option of going rouge and doing our own thing. This week, our topic is Favor online bookish resources, which is bad for me, because I will add so many new accounts for sites that look interesting.   1- Goodreads I feel like every reader uses Goodreads. I love it for the reading challenges and finding reviews, but I should use the community aspect more.    2- Barnes and Noble I love using B&N for books because I love supporting bookstores. I use Amazon sometimes, but that's mostly for Ebooks I want or daily deals.    3- Likewise   This is an app that I enjoy using. You rate books and other media and it gives you recommendations. I love it beca...
