Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite books from the second quarter of the year!

Hi! Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl. This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we bog bloggers have the opportunity to write a list based on that prompt, or go rogue and do our own thing. This week, the prompt is Book titles that are questions. I wasn’t really feeling that, so I thought I would make a list of my top ten books for the second quarter of the year! These books were all five stars and were read from April 1st- June 25th

April

1- Fearless (Fearless Series Book 1) by Mandy Gonzalez

2- The Chance to Fly by Ali Stroker and Stacy Davidowitz

3- Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo

4- Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton

May

5- 10 Truths and a Dare by Ashley Elston

6- Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales

June

7- Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli

8- One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

9- Felix Ever After by Kacen Callander

10- Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I am taking part in the weekly memes  The Sunday Post hosted by caffeinatedbookreviewer and Stacking The Shelves hosted by .tyngasreviews . I have had a great time coming up with the updates for these posts in the last few weeks and so I will keep doing them. Life This week was crazy for me because I had a a work blog due. While I enjoyed doing the post, it was more research than I had allotted for, so I just needed to spend more time on the blog than normal. Other than that it was an easy week. I got some read in and I got a new chapter up for my fanfic. Yesterday, we spent a lot of time in the backyard and shoveling stone for the yard. Read I just finished China Rich Girlfriend earlier today! All For One Alex &Eliza #3 is still so much fun and I think it is my favorite book of the trilogy still. Currently, I am on page 184/391 I read some The Princess and the Fangirl and I am 50% done. Rather than pushing it for the next few days, I deci...

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  ...

The Sunday Post!

Welcome back! Today I will link up to  The Sunday Post  hosted by  /caffeinatedbookreviewer  and Stacking the Shelves hosted by  tyngasreviews . Life This week was busier than usual because I ended up going to Peter Pan Jr rehearsals in the afternoon so I could  work with the music cues. The show opens this coming Friday, and this week is Tech Week, which is a four days where the cast will be able to work with lights, sound, mics, costumes, makeup, and basically run the show and get notes. The cast is 3rd-8th graders. I've been helping for years and I love it, although because I love Peter Pan, I have a soft spot for this show in particular. Other than that it was a relaxing week. Read I started Rich People Problems by  Kevin Kwan on Monday. I am 21% done, and I already love this book. I might not love it as much as I loved China Rich Girlfriend, but it's still early.  All For One was the plan to finish last week, but I still have ...
