NaNoWriMo Day 11

Today was a great day it might not have been the best word count wise, but I did write 2,373!!!! The more important ting to me is the fact that I got to 25,005 words and that was the goal! I wrote about 9 paragraphs, most of which was dialogue because I had so much narrative in the novel. The paragraphs talk about Gilmore Girls, and Once Upon A Time.  The preview today is the intro paragraphs.

hen everyone was ready Lucy had gotten everyone ready for the discussion of the night tonight it was a series of questions, more opinion based”okay everyone the discussion for the night is the following: favorite character, favorite season, and favorite relationship on the show. “As for me my favorite character is Lorelei I thought that we would talk about our favorite characters, and then we would move onto favorite seasons and then we would move onto relationships” with that Lucy looked around and wondered who would go next. “As for me my favorite character is Rory,” Ren started they didn’t have order they just sort of went with the flow once someone had something to say then they would say it. “My favorite character is Lorelei like mom’s,” it wasn’t a shock to everyone that Nat would agree with her mom they both had the same mind about most things. “My favorite character is Rory like Ren,” again it wasn’t shocking to anyone that Phoebe would agree with Ren they both seemed to be on the same wave length about most things. “My favorite character is Rory,” it wasn’t a shock that Lenore would agree with Ren and Phoebe, once again the three of them were always on the same wave length . “My favorite character is Lorelei,” Lizzie stated it was like her to have a different opinion from her twin sister on something, after all they both were strongly opinionated people.

Peter had been in the room with them, but he really didn’t have any opinions on Gilmore Girls as he wasn’t as avid as a watcher of the show was his mom and his sisters were, and so next they were going to talk about another family favorite Once Upon A Time. “Okay, everyone same questions as the Gilmore Girls discussion only with Once: favorite character or characters main and or guest star, season and or story line, and relationships on the show.” “As far as favorite character I really like Emma, and I think that she a very original character that the show created” Peter looked around wondering if anyone agreed with him. “Emma, Regina, and Belle are my favorite characters” Phoebe looked around when she was done to see who was next. “My favorite characters are: Emma, Belle, Snow White, Captain Hook, and I loved Elsa and Anna” Ren had a long list this typical of her she could usually only pick one thing. “My favorite character is Regina” everyone in the room knew this about Lizzie, and so she didn’t really have to the answer the question to begin with but she did anyway. “ My favorite characters are: Emma, Regina, Rumple, Belle, Snow, David, and Henry” like her sister Lenore had a long list it was very typical of her. “My favorite characters are Emma and Regina” Nat looked over at Lizzie the two of  them usually on the same wave length, they really couldn’t explain it but it was the way that it was. “ I have to say that my favorite characters are: Emma, Regina, Belle, and Snow” it seemed like most of the group had agreed with Lucy.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday- characters that remind me of myself

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This is a weekly meme where readers discuss ten or whatever number you would like to have based on a prompt. Our host is Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl . Our topic this week is Characters Like Myself. I am going to take a two words that each character has in in my opinion,  and discuss how that relates to me  as well. 1- Cather Avery from Fangirl Writer- At her core, Cath is a writer, and she loves her stories. I am a writer of both Fan Fiction and original stories like Cath so this was an automatic in for this. Both of us love our work and we tend to through ourselves whole hardheartedly into our work. Sisters- I might have mentioned this on the blog before but I have a younger sister and we’re only roughly 18 months a part. Cath and her twin sister Wren are polar  opposites and this is me and my sister. My younger sister is an extrovert and into science. I on the other hand,  am an introverted creative bookworm.  ...

Top Ten Tuesday- Book characters linked to Halloween candy!!

Welcome Back! I know I’ve been saying that I will be back and blogging more. Life happened last week, I had an appointment last week, and I just got lazy after that. I’m planning to be back more this week and get posting again this week. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana at  thatartsyreadergirl .  This was born out of a love of lists and bringing the bookish community together. This week is a Halloween Freebie. I’m not into the horror or mystery genres. I wanted to do my top 8 Halloween candies and pick a character that reminds me of them. 1- Chocolate Rhys from A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas because he is smooth. This was a no brainier for me. Rhys is smooth, and he always knows what to say. He is charming and flirtatious so he was reminds me of chocolate no question. 2- Reese’s cups Claudia from Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills because she is sweet but has the determination to get what she wants. I read this book ...
