NaNoWriMo day 15

I finished chapter 11 today, and that was an amazing thing for me to do I now have 6 more chapters to do. Today I wrote 2,332 words so not the best but more than I thought I was going to. I now have 34, 416 so I will hit 35 k tomorrow!!! I wrote about Scarlett's siblings today so  for today's preview it's going to be Scarlett talking to her sister and her brother.

“Maggie hey how are you all doing,” Scarlett exclaimed as her sister was making her way towards the group she loved that they could all do this today it was something she needed. Maggie had always seen her sister as a person that was different from her and but she wanted to try and see the best in her sister, and today would very much help that and her sister could see her nieces and nephew. “ Hey Scarlett we’re doing good today we hope that you are as well,” Maggie smiled as she sat down on the bench that her sister had already saved for the four of them. “I’m doing well today thank you for meeting me here today, I just wanted to find out how you’re doing, and how work is going for you also I wanted to see them” Scarlett looked at her nieces and her nephew who had grown from the last time she had seen them. “Work is going well the usually helping people and I love that I’m helping people become better people how is work going for you,” Maggie smiled she wanted to know if her sister was designing anymore she loved that her sister was designing things. “Work is going really well for me as well and I’m working on some new lines that came out recently, and I’m working on the new expansion for the lines” Scarlett was so proud of the work that she was doing. The next few minutes were spent with them talking about what was going on in their lives, and them just looking at the children that were here now they were growing up so fast. “ Thanks Maggie this was a lot of fun, and I’d like to do it again when we have more time to spend with each other” at that the two of them hugged.

Her brother had gotten to the coffee shop before why was he the  one that was always so annoyingly early and she wanted to be the first one there that way she could get them a table, and because she was the one that called this meeting she wanted to be early. When she had gotten there and saw that her brother was already there all thoughts of beating him, and being the first one there were out the window. “Hey Derek how are you doing,” she hugged her brother she had always had the best relationship with him, more than anyone else in the family. “Hey Scarlett things are going good, how’re you doing and how is work going”his sister looked like she was doing well and he was so happy at this news. because it meant that she was doing well and that she was happy this would all he could ask for. “Work is going well working on some new things for a line, and working on expanding some lines I already have out how is work going for you?” “Work is going well for me, you know the same old same old, but at least I’m still gaining clients” if he didn’t have clients then he wouldn’t have that much of a job. They had to keep this coffee short because they both had to get back to work, but they would see each other at the thing that their parents were going to do for the family. “I’m sorry that we have to cut this short but we have to get back to work, I’ll see you at the dinner that mom and dad are going to throw,” Derek looked at her with a smile and she nodded with that they both hugged and they both left.

Top Ten Tuesday- Holiday / Seasonal Freebie- Memorable characters of 2020

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana  @thatartsyreadergirl . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we book bloggers will post a reply to the topic. This week, it's a seasonal / winter freebie. I kind of went rogue in a way. In the winter you see the end of the year best-of lists, and that's exactly what I did with this post. You will find subsections to indicate the genre each book is in.  YA Contemporary 1- Pepper from Tweet Cute by Emma Lord Tweet Cute was a novel I read in September. I fell hard for the major character, Pepper. She was so sweet, and she wanted so much to lice her own life.  As a bonus, she baked, and I seem to really love characters who bake. Pepper made this list because she wanted to live her own life for her, and I really admire that quality in a person. 2- Sophie from 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston I’m in the middle of this book right now, but I ...

Top Ten Tuesday –Favorite Couples (Valentine’s Day /Love Freebie)

Hi! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ thatartsyreadergirl. . This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. I love doing this meme because it gives me a chance to bond with other bloggers. Every week, Jana will post a topic, and we bloggers will make a post with our list on the topic, or a different one. This week it was Valentines / Love, so I wanted to do a post on favorite couples. I may have done a similar post last year, but I know that there are some new couples on this list.  1- Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy- Pride & Prejudice   This is the only classic couple on this list. I enjoy their relationship because the two characters have little in common, and yet by the end of the novel, they make it work. As you read Pride & Prejudice, you get to see these two find the love each of them was missing. 2- Cath and Levi–Fangirl One of my favorite YA novels needed to appear on this list. I love Cath and Levi becau...

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Historical

Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Our Host is Jana @thatartsyreadergirl . Every week, readers gather and respond to the topic of  the week. This week, we are talking about Top Ten Books in our favorite genre. I love The Classics, YA of all kinds minus Horror and Mystery, and Historical. I choose Historical as I talk about Classics and YA a lot on this blog. These are in no order, just as they came to me. 1- Romanov  by Nadine Brandes I read this Anastasia retelling in nineteen days when it came out. I loved this book so much! About half the novel was the Romanov’s in exile, and their life in a house where they couldn’t do that much. As the story progresses, we see that Nastya is a spell master, so this is how Fantasy is sprinkled in with the Historical Fiction to tell a new story. I loved all aspects of this novel, even the ones that were sad, and almost caused me to throw this book across the room. I will review this book later on this month. I recommend this for any...
