Why I want to read this- I enjoyed the first book in February and March of this year, and I would love to continue with this series. I love the characters and the story that Kwan has created, and I can't wait to dive back into the world of Crazy Rich Asians.

OPEN THE DOOR. ADVENTURE AWAITS.
Olive and her adopted siblings Charlotte and Darwin are spending the summer with their estranged grandma at her creepy hotel and it’s all work and no play. They’re stuck inside doing boring chores but they soon stumble upon an incredible secret... Behind each room door of the hotel lies a portal to a different strange and mysterious place. The simple turn of a knob transports them to a distant magical world filled with space pirates. Behind the next door are bearded wizards. Down the hall is a doorway to a cotton-candied kingdom. But once the doors are opened, worlds start colliding, and only one family can save them before they tear themselves apart.
Written by Terry Blas (The Amazing World of Gumball) and illustrated by the talented Claudia Aguirre (Kim & Kim), this world-hopping fantasy tale breaks down the door to imagination and dares you to embrace the idea that family is everything.

I am on page 40 of 144 of this middle grade book. I entered a give away, and I won a pdf Earc! The book expires at the end of the month, but I will probably finish it within the week. It's a fun story about siblings who go and visit a grand mother, and each of them are taken on a different journey, in a different room in her house. The art is super cool so far, and the story is fun and intriguing.
The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston
Publication- April 2, 2019
Goodreads Summary
The Prince and the Pauper gets a modern makeover in this adorable, witty, and heartwarming young adult novel set in the Geekerella universe by national bestselling author Ashley Poston.
Imogen Lovelace is an ordinary fangirl on an impossible mission: save her favorite character, Princess Amara, from being killed off from her favorite franchise, Starfield. The problem is, Jessica Stone—the actress who plays Princess Amara—wants nothing more than to leave the intense scrutiny of the fandom behind. If this year's ExcelsiCon isn't her last, she'll consider her career derailed.
When a case of mistaken identity throws look-a-likes Imogen and Jess together, they quickly become enemies. But when the script for the Starfield sequel leaks, and all signs point to Jess, she and Imogen must trade places to find the person responsible. That's easier said than done when the girls step into each other's shoes and discover new romantic possibilities, and the other side of intense fandom. As these "princesses" race to find the script-leaker, they must rescue themselves from their own expectations, and redefine what it means to live happily ever after.

I enjoyed Geekerella immensely, and I can't wait to dive back into the world that Ashley Poston has created with with this novel. I am not the biggest fan of Jess, but I read another blogger who said Jess was in a way redeemed in this novel, so I am looking forward to that. I have heard in reviews that this book is LGBTQ+, and I am so here for this. I can't wait to meet Imogen, she already seems like a great character to me.

I have enjoyed the first two books. They might not be the best when it comes to writing or anything, but they're a fun series. I would not say these are my top five books of the year or anything, but I have enjoyed the journey with them. I can't wait to see what happens in the final book of the trilogy.
Continue and Finish

Continue
I have not finished War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. This is a book I've been reading for two years, and I'm somewhere near halfway done. I want to hit the 60% mark this month, this will at least get me reading the book again. I have not read the book as much in 2019, but I've put two years of my life into the book, and I don't want to DNF the book.
G'Morning G'Night by Lin Manuel Miranda
I planned on reading the pages f this every day and every night. This has not happened, so I only say I will continue because I may forget again.
What are you planning to read this month?
